Prof. Brannick is a very intellegent woman, she knows what she's talking about. If you do all of her homework twice you will get an A in the class. She has quizzes every week right from the homework and her tests are straight forward. Overall learned a lot in her class. I do-able class if you are willing to make Calc a top priority.

do not take her! she is honestly the worst math teacher i have ever had! she lectures way to fast and her study guides are miss leading. homework is not turned in. i get As in math and i failed her class! i really dont think its because i didnt understand the material but mainlly because her tests are extremely difficult! please dont take her

Do not take her unless you're okay with teaching yourself the material, she zooms through the material and covers the board the entire time, she is very caring but when it comes to understanding the material shes not the best fit.

Her husband died this semester, making her utterly miserable. Numerous classes canceled, unwilling to work with you, refuses to slow down in class, all while standing in front of her work. Didn't learn a whole lot in class and the book was very heavy on theory rather than actually applying formulas to solve problems. Would not recommend EVER.

Great professor. Has a very high pass rate for calculus. Explains things well and makes it interesting. Take this professor!

Very fast paced class. Calc2 isn't an easy class but she does her best to explain. Class is mostly just trying to keep up with her examples on the board. Be prepared for a quiz once a week on homework. Dont let this worry you. DO the homework and you will do well on the quiz which will boost your class grade. She drops lowest 2 quiz and 1 low test.

Extremely smart lady which makes it difficult for her to teach basic concepts. Writing is very sloppy. Goes very quickly while standing in front of what she is writing, leaving students to play catch-up all class. Makes if difficult to ask questions because of her snarky remarks (they can be funny sometimes, though). Overall, I wouldn't recommend.

She goes FAST. If you can handle that good, I couldn't. It's hard to take notes, ask questions, and grasp concepts all at once because she moves onto the next thing quick. You MUST have a good handle on your remedial math skills (i.e. algebra, trig). She is a genius, but I don't think she realizes it, so she gets annoyed by basic concept questions.

first of all, don't be intimidated by recent reviews, she had an entire 3 classes of calc 2 to teach this semester alone, making the amount of ppl who hate the prof seem a lot higher than it actually is. secondly, this is calc 2 and she won't baby you like other professors do up to calc 1, but even then, this is one of the easier calc 2 classes.

12 quizes, lowest two drop, replaces lowest test score. She's fast and doesnt wait for students who are copying lecture notes. I have no time to understand what I'm writing. Handwriting can be sloppy and small. She knows her stuff but she tends to block the board while writing notes. Sometimes, you have to learn from the book. Wouldnt recommend.

This is an average professor. Her abilities and knowledge of the material is sky high. Her willingness to express the concepts in a clear concise manner is not. I would look elsewhere if you want to actually learn the material.

I'm going to admit she's not an easy teacher and sometimes is hard to follow, but really does know her stuff. Ask questions! ASK ASK ASK. If you don't, you'll be stuck. I took Calc I and II with her and got an A and B. You may not like the grade you get, but you will leave knowing Calc well.

Honestly she's probably the worst teacher I've had at Palomar, her lecture is non existent rather she just does example problems. She teaches this Calculus 2 as if it is pre-algebra, so the pace of this class is jaw dropping. She comes right on time, leaves during break, and leaves again right after class. Its almost like she doesn't wanna be there

Absolutely terrific professor. She explained everything to me super clearly, and had very clear lectures. I would take her for every math class after this semester! Do well on your quizzes, ask her about a topic if you are falling behind, and you will do well in the class. Can't recommend enough!

Homework is not given for a grade, but you should do it in order to do good in the class. Class is a boring 2 hrs & 20 min long with a 15 min break in between. Best to ask questions during class because she gets there just before class, leaves during break, and is out the door when class ends. Pay attention in this class or you will be left behind.

Brannick has a lot of office hours, so if you go and ask her questions she will help you out, she's alright at explaining material during lecture, but office hours are a vital to understand concepts. Her quizzes aren't hard, if you know your concepts, same with her exams; though, her exams are tough, but not exceptionally hard. Know your math.

If there is a teacher on this planet that I would take again it would be Professor Brannick. She is amazing in every way the word is defined. Sometimes she can come off as tough, but by the end of the semester you'll understand every nook and cranny, in and out of the class she is teaching. She deserves every good critique she's been given.

I'm pretty sure Professor Brannick is a wonderful professor, but definitely not for my precalculus class. Once you get this class, it'll start right away and everything is so fast-paced. There are 2 homework assignments and a quiz every week so you'll have to be on top of it! It seemed like I wasn't the only one failing either.

Professor Brannick is a fair grader and is willing to help. I highly recommend doing all of the homework, since she has weekly quizzes that reflect the assignments she assigned. Her exams are reasonable and showing your work is important. I will be taking her again for second semester calculus.
