Assumes you have a good background in Calculus and struggles to simplify explanations if you have a problem understanding. Tests are thorough and grading is tough. Complete understanding of material is required to do well on the tests. Vast majority of points composing your grade are from tests and exams. Friendly and personable

Tests and quizzes do not reflect the concepts learned in class. Is impossible to find practice problems online that are the same difficulty as her test questions. She is a very tough grader: if you make a mistake on one of the problems, all work that below that is automatically wrong. Is possible to fail her quizzes because for one simple mistake.

This teacher is a really good teacher but her test does not reflect what she teaches or her test reviews, her quizzes are almost impossible to pass, I study hours for her test and still can not pass even thought I did all my homework and did good on test review. STAY AWAY

I had her for Calculus II Spring 2014. I will warn you now that she "takes ABSOLUTELY NO prisoners"! She is the EXACT DEFINITION of a weed out course professor and this is why the engineering department likes her. Attend EVERY SINGLE class, get help during her office hours, and work EXTRA hard for her to notice that you are motivated and pass you!

Theres a good amount of homework but it prepares you so much for the tests and quizzes, especially since the hw itself is harder. Plus a lot of the examples she does in class are the same problems you get on the quizzes and tests so she really does try to help and prepare you, just pay attention and do the hw.

Rosenberg structures the class for students to do well. MTH151 for engineering students was a great class. There is extra credit for every HW assignment and the tests are straightforward. She keeps a daily sign-in sheet to learn everyone's name but does not tabulate attendance. Labs are very annoying, but most students do very well int he class.

Professor Rosenberg is a very nice person who is not meant for teaching. She moves very fast through the material, assuming you know what she's talking about and often makes mistakes with the work she teaches. Her tests and quizzes are difficult and she is a very tough grader, taking off many points for small mistakes.

She is nice, but not the best teacher. She goes very fast during her lectures and often skips steps. She assigns lots of online homeworks, some of which are very difficult. She will extend the deadline for you if you ask, though. Her quizzes are practically impossible to pass, you mess up one step and you're automatically at a 75. Avoid if you can

Webassign takes a lot of time, but you will miss it when you take calc ii without it. It prepares you well for the tests, and you should go over the problems before the tests. Her lectures are good, she goes over examples most of the time, which works for me. Make sure to attend lectures.

she's ok but the class was hard. also attendance is optional but if you dont skip class she might give extra cred at the end so id definitely recommend not skipping. lots of hard online homework...I had a tutor who didnt know how to do it.

Prof. Rosenberg is really good to take if you are already familiar with the course material (i.e. you already took calc in high school) because she moves quickly. Tests were very easy and the homework is all done online.

This prof has been the worst experience of my life. She'll take off 1/4 of the points from a large question for missing a negative sign. The hardest grader and gives no curve when the class average is well below failing. She won't listen to your questions or what you have to say. Also does not explain topics thoroughly. 10/10 would not recommend.

Very fair, she moves fast during class but gives relevant test review problems and grades partial credit generously on exams. Very nice person, do the WebAssign homework and practice the review problems and you'll do fine. Getting an A or B in MTH 151 with her is very doable. She has a generous amount of office hours too.

Easily the worth math professor I've ever had. Her homework has nothing to do with what you learn in class, and the tests are much, much harder than the reviews she gives. She barely teaches the material, she just goes over a few examples, skips key steps, makes mistakes on the board, then moves on quickly and leaves you confused. DO NOT TAKE!

I liked Mrs. Rosenberg. She wasn't the most amazing teacher i've ever had but she was definitely not a bad teacher. She definitely knew how to engage with her students when teaching. Her homework is long and hard but her tests are easy so be smart with your hw drops. If you can do the hw you can definitely take her tests.

I actually enjoyed her class. She goes a little fast at times but is very helpful if you go to her office hours. She tries to answer questions you might have in class quickly so we don't lose class time but she still tries. Her tests are basically what she tells you to review and a lot of the in class examples we do, so pay attention to those.

Really hard, doesn't really teach anything or explain anything. Introduces new things, goes over examples once, and does not explain it. Does one example and moves on. If you ask her to do a homework problem, she doesn't solve it, she just explain the gist of how to do it which is never helpful. Tests are very hard and homework is never like tests.

Unless you've taken calculus before don't plan on doing well in this class. She doesn't actually teach you how to solve problems. She just goes over hw and practice problems that aren't like the test questions.
