Comment:

Moody Chu is probably the best teacher I have ever had. His lectures are fantastic and extremely clear. While he doesn't take attendance in class, you can't skip without being very unprepared for the tests. Do the practice tests before tests and make sure you can do them well, and the tests and the final will be no problem. Highly recommend.

Dr. Chu is the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure of being taught by. He takes the time to thoroughly explain all concepts and their derivations rather than just provide formulas. He makes witty jokes and keeps the class very entertaining. His class is hard but you will learn calculus better from him than from anyone else.

Moody Chu, what a guy. He comes off as really aggressive, and he IS really aggressive. But that means he aggressively wants you to do well. His tests are hard because if you survive that class, you'll know your calc 3 better than anyone. Occasionally assassinates students if they forget the FTC.

Dr. Chu is an amazing person who's office is always open and really desires for his students to know and understand mathematics. BEWARE: His exams are the hardest I have ever taken, but if you get some study partners or are just way smarter than me, you will do fine. Do the homeworks legitimately and try, and you should have no problem. BELL CURVE!

Dr. Chu is a really nice guy but his class is unnecessarily hard. For the tests he expects you to know too much and doesn't give you nearly enough time to finish. He also grades using a normal distribution so you're essentially competing with the rest of the class. If you don't score above the mean you won't make above a C.

He does have an accent, but still he was understandable most of the time. Very good sense of humor. Really takes the time to explain things in a way that the book sometimes doesn't do well. The tests are hard, but if you do the practice tests, you should not get anything below a B. However, he does curve DOWN! Overall, a very enjoyable teacher.

Chu is hilarious and a great prof. However, you will only succeed in his class if you actually put in the effort to get a good grade and you must actually learn the material to be successful. He is ALWAYS in his office and willing to help. He may seem intimidating at first but he's very helpful so you should go talk to him. Seriously, GO TO CLASS.

Dr. Chu is one of the more entertaining profs I have had this semester. He is very funny, and he really knows his stuff. In my opinion, nobody can explain things better than he can. "His class is easy to pass, but hard to get a really high grade in." If you want to actually learn calculus, then take Dr. Chu's class.

Professor Chu is a great teacher. The class is pretty hard so attendance is a must. He explains things pretty well and can draw great 3D images that defiantly helps with understanding the material. I would recommend! Hes always pretty funny.

Professor Chu is excellent. He explains the material very thoroughly with a good bit of theory and then gives plenty of examples. His tests are hard but fair, although they require that you really know your stuff or you will run out of time. Is always available for help. Cares about his students' success and has a great sense of humor.
