He is a cool OLD MAN!!! He is the only professor I have ever had to call me and review my paper over the phone. He is very insightful and wants students to think critically. All readings are on overcoming victimization. Three papers, two tests, two quizzes, and a resume.

Professor Moorin is a great teacher. i took him over this summer, and got an A. there were 3 essays, readings, and daily journals. overall, he is a very nice old man who has interesting life stories. he is extremely helpful. you get extra credit points if you volunteer to make multiple copies of your essay for the class. take him!! he's the best!!

Dr. Moorin is a kind and soft-spoken professor, during the 1st half of the sem. he will assign tedious grammer work but if you just do it without thinking its tedious, there's no problem. Lectures about his military days in UK, ex-wife and iraqi war vet son. Pay attention to the course reader and implement it in the 5or6 essays overall great class

Class was more complicated than it needed to be. Not too difficult, but, involved way more work than needed to achieve the objective. His mentality is rather limited by his age; he seems to believe that the world hasn't moved on from WW2. Non-Christians may find his "universal" statements to be un-universal. Attendance was mandatory.

Nice old man. Lots of personal stories. Fair grader. Personal Journal 10%. Midterm & Final 30% Outside essay 25%. Other Essays 30%. other 5%. Is available if help is needed. Even has a Resume assign at the end. Handouts were a bit tedious. Overall easy class for GE credit.

If u can please take someone else..he is annoying and his assignments are hard and confusing. I took this class cr/no cr and I am so happy I did. I normally get A's and B's on essays and i got C's and C+'s on everything. I hated going to class but i went for points. He tells a lot of personal stories as well. There are some in class timed writings!

Moorin is a great guy. His class is fairly easy and you learn alot about technical writing, and he has an interesting style of writing. Just FOLOWthe directions on his handouts and it will go well. You must read "Anthem" which is a great book.

Dr. Moorin is one of the nicest, sweetest, and best professors I've ever had. He makes you write around five papers and take a midterm and a final, but the material is somewhat easy if you go to class and work on the handouts. He really cares about his students and tries to give the best grade he can. I learned a lot from him. I do recommend him.

the concept of this class is simple: do good on the essays and you'll get an A. outside essays are 55% so put best effort in that. in class essays, midterm, and final are somewhat important. he allows make up essay so take advantage of it. the only bad thing is that you don't know your grade until after finals

I got an A+; the class was easy for me, but I have always been a strong writer. If you need some improvement in written expression, you can learn a lot from him, otherwise it's tedious. He can be condescending and [unwittingly] very **** at times. If you pay attention to his attitude then you'll be in good shape.

Dr. Moorin is a good teacher. He does talk about his family and personal life a lot, but its not that hard of a class, so you just kind of smile and nod when he goes on and on. The only thing I really learned in this class is grammar. You never know what your grade is or how many points anything is worth, so it's hard to know if you are behind.
