Brutal exams, but you'll be fine if you do the practice tests. He makes them almost identical to the real one. Super easy class if you spend a little time each day practicing the problems in the book

Dr. Davidson's class is fairly easy until you run into an issue or have a question because he does NOT respond to emails. He is extremely lazy when it comes to uploading the homework for the week, but his exams aren't terrible. The class is run flipped classroom style so don't expect any lecture videos.

Honestly one of my worst experiences with an online class. Others I have taken before offered modules that actually help you learn the topics but Davidson just assigns homework and has exams through ProtorU (WHICH SUCK). Every time I email him asking a question he never responds!! He is not a good teacher and doesn't even care about the students.

Overall his class wasn't too bad. Exams were absolute hell, but he curved them A LOT and I ended with a B+. For an online class he was alright.

Took linear algebra online with him 3 exams and one homework a week. It was a teach yourself class and the exams either make you or break you as there aren't any extra points besides homework which is also challenging. Waited until the last few hours to post final grades which was annoying. Exams were similar to practice ones but not exact.

Took Calc II online and it was pretty much a "teach yourself" course. Material was through Webassign and Dr. Davidson didn't upload any videos/lectures... So, it was learn from the book and homework. He did give extra credit though and curved grades as needed. Not a difficult class, but you definitely don't learn as much online than in person.

He is not very great at responding to emails. He always sends out the homework for the week along with helpful videos and what to read from the textbook. Before tests, he does a practice test and it is pretty much the same as the test so it's hard to not do well.

I've never had Davidson for a lecture course yet, but he is very very lazy about assignments and emails for the online Linear Algebra class. We go extremely slow for no reason just because he delays putting assignments up and is super slow at grading exams. I have emailed him a few times asking questions and have never received an email back.

Took Expl. Mod Math in Intercession. Great teacher passed everyone. Curved Grades. Understood it was 3 weeks long and people wanted the credit. Did Rubix Cube all the time. Fun but Hard. overall great guy and great professor.

Comment:

Morley is one of the nicest and smartest guys you will ever meet. He is a great teacher as long as you ask questions and let him know if you aren't understanding. He will move on if he asks "Everyone understand?" and noone speaks up. Make him aware if you need him to slow down the lesson and he will. Tests are straight forward & come from H/W ?'s.

Really nice guy. I took him for my last math class and I was terrible at math. Gave me a B and was always willing to help. Take if you love math, you will get a lot. If you don't, he's still one of the nicest Profs you'll have.

Davidson is smart but not a good teacher. He doesn't understand we aren't all math majors. I had to learn a lot on my own. He assumes prior knowledge and the class was very hard for me. I did most of the teaching myself. At least he speaks English.

Dr. Davidson is actually my favorite math professor at the university. He's very technical but it's only to help you be a better teacher. He does go off on tangents but he makes sure you understand and wants to help. I've had him for Discrete Math, Number Theory and Euclidean Geom (in the summer). Do the requirements and you should get an A or B.

I had him for number theory and discrete math. If you're a math genius then you're going to love him because he favors you. He's a really nice guy however and will help you outside of class. Assigns a LOT of homework but as long as you do it, you'll get an A on HW. The tests are all about memorizing theorems word for word.

i am very disapointed in this professor, i found that he has not graded fairly across the board, and you best belive during the break i will be filing a formal complain. its said that the math department has professors like him who just show up to class and goes through the book, instead of having a lession plan, and among other things!
