Really good prof that makes the content interesting by using discussions and real life examples. There is a lot of group work and he uses quizzes that aren't graded to help you understand the basis of each chapter.

hes a big fan of students reading before class. I personally don't learn as well that way i prefer to read after class. Also he utilizes group discussions a lot and has 2 big group projects in addition to the midterm and exam. He's a decent prof, personally his teaching style just doesn't suit me. Not to mention HR is the most boring material ever

Dr. Mendelson's BA2858 class was great. He encourages participation and when you are encouraged, you remember the material and you learn better. He is also helpful outside the class and his tests are fair. I also changed my major to HR because I was inspired by him. Great prof!

He's a very knowledgeable & interesting professor that likes the class to participate. If you do not prepare for class or speak up, you will not do well. I believe that a vast majority of his poor ratings are from ESL students that got bad marks on their essays. This can be verified by simply reading some of the comments. I also had him for BA4857
