He is the best teacher I have ever had. He expects his students to work and learn and does not just give grades away. He is very dedicated and will stay and teach in office hours for as long as it takes for you to learn. Those who didn't like him were usually lazy or wanted everything handed to them. You get what you put into life. I love MKK.

the only chem teacher who doesnt curve. tricks on every test. class is spent trying to keep up with him rather than understanding anything. no matter how much you prepare, the test will be unlike anything you've ever seen. he expects you to know as much as he does...which is impossible. take Saba if you can!

He gives very detailed explanations. He expects a lot from his students, but he is very straightforward. Liked him better than Saba. Class is really hard and boring, but you will have a great understanding of organic chemistry afterwards.

takes off points for absolutely anything he can. yea, he gives good notes, but he writes so fast you don't remember what he meant by them by the time you get to actually read them. makes tests impossible and expects you to know as much as he does. if you take him, make sure its out of necessity.

If this class looks fun, u must trust me ITS NOT! Yeah he gives good notes but all u do the entire class is copy from the board.He's not approachable and keeps bashing CSI and Law and Order and how they portray forensics. Exams r impossible no matter how much u study and labs r hard. It's like he wants students to fail so they hate the subject.

Comment:

Dr. Kaloustian is one of the best teachers at Fordham. His class is very difficult, but what chem class isn't. If you go to see him, he will make sure that you know the material by the time you are done talking to him. He wants you to learn, and will do anything to make sure you do. He is a very nice man, both in and out of class.

This man not only makes a seemingly interesting topic boring, but makes it ridicuously hard. DO NOT BUY THE TEXT BOOK-he outlines every chapter with detailed notes on the board. if you do not sit in the front 2 rows of the classroom you will not be able to hear him. midterm and final r extremely difficult no matter how long you prepare for.

He tries to be nice and funny because everything else he does terrifies the students. I've never had a prof that purposely made the exams so hard that the students couldn't do well. He gives good notes and makes jokes here and there, but when it comes time for exams, no matter how prepared u feel u r, u come out of the room thinking u failed.

There's no doubt Moses is a tough teacher -- he gives a lot of notes and really only gives a midterm and final that are close to impossible. However, he's a nice man who gets to know all the students in the class. The class material is fairly interesting too

This is not CSI, this is not Law&Order, this is not entertainment. His quote from the 1st day of class. He's a nice man, and gives good notes. If u don't sit in the first 2 rows u won't hear him. His midterm was very hard and I'm terrified of the final. Forget about forensics on tv, all science.

He is a machine. The students are out of breath by the time he finishes his lecture, merciless, but he's almost like a father figure. He's the last person you want to disappoint. I think you work hard in that class just for him.
