Prof Franko knows his stuff. His dry sense of humor makes the class enjoyable but also not too difficult. He does a lot of examples of similar homework questions in class, and is willing to work back and reexplain concepts. The two projects and two tests over the course of the semester are not bad at all. Great guy, would absolutely recommend.

Great professor! He teaches the material in a very straightforward way, and then does a ton of examples to make sure everyone has the opportunity to master the process. Tests are very fair, he pretty much tells you what type of questions will be on there, so there's never any surprises. Nice guy also, very funny without trying to be. Loved him!

Franko is tough, his lectures are not that helpful, so I had to spend ALOT of time outside of class trying to figure out what the heck was going on. If you are willing to do that, he's an okay professor to take.

Comment:

Franko is an overall good professor. His major flaw is clarity. However, he is always willing to help and repeat what is necessary for all students to understand. This is a tough course and there is a lot of material to learn. That being said, as long as you put in the work and reach out to Franko when you need help, you will do fine!

Professor Franko is a great teacher in my opinion. Although at times he might not be 100% clear he is normally pretty good. He takes his time with the subject matter, and as someone who looks to rate my professor religiously for information on teachers, i'm trying to be 100% unbiased. He is a fair grader and if you know subject matter you're good.

Dr. Franko is a great guy but not so great of a professor. Teaches very fast and is very confusing. Says tests are like the Webassign homework's but sometimes has material that was not covered in class. Offers help when you ask for it but still might not be clear. I don't recommend him as a prof. Also he calls on people randomly so pay attention.

Professor franko is good at what he does. I struggled in math for basically my entire life and this class is like into to calculus and i understand everything. Homework is easy, one thing about him he randomly calls on people all class period so you'd better pay attention

I think that this professor is often misunderstood. He is not a great instructor because he struggles with clarity. So what I mean is that you will not learn well with his instructions alone. If you ask questions, he will always answer. He is also more than willing to give extra help. He mentions it every class. Do your work and you will be fine.

He is a great guy and tries to help as much as he can. His tests are not awful and if you stick with it, the final is easier than the exams. He is open to talking or slowing down if students have trouble. Would definitely recommend him

Professor Franko is a good teacher. People who write comments that it is too hard must have had no math/algebra skills prior to the class. All this does is apply algebra to business. Pr. Franko is a really nice guy and willing to help and go over problems in class when someone asks. Do and study from the homework and you are going to do great

This man is needless to say, with lack of a better word, majestic, awe-inspiring, and the best teacher I have ever had the great fortune to learn from, but mostly he is my favorite teacher since I was in grade school, Mrs. Lowe was just a bit more intimidating, but still, love this guy!

This man in very nice but the material is quite difficult. I am taking the intro class that is required by all students and it is difficult because he teaches very fast and does not got over the problems more than one or two times in most cases. Take if you are very good at math but if not I would try and avoid. As Franko would say, "Aight!"

Nice guy, class is very hard. He teaches the material very quickly, and always assigns homework through WebAssign. But the homework's hardly count toward your final grade. What matters most in his class are his tests which are extremely challenging. Hard grasp concepts because he teaches very fast.

Attendence is not mandatory but you HAVE to go to class if you want to have any idea what your doing.He is really fast with the material and does one practice problem for each topic.Overall if your a math wiz and know everything take him but if not i would avoid

I missed about ten classes, so I was way behind on what was going on, but the class isnt too dry and the information is definitely pertinent to business. If you actually go to class and dont bomb the tests, you should do well.

The man, everything is done using excel, 2 test and a final. No homework due but should try the problems every now and then. Definitely take him for 200, doing it by hand is much harder.
