Sometimes I felt like a poet was teaching the class. Kind of lazy and unclear in conveying concept. Excessively utilize Wikipedia but lack focus on clarity of lecture notes. Exams are not that hard; they were like TOEFL iBT Reading Tests. The pressure for the whole class is certainly not detrimental at all.

Incredibly funny and kind man who wants to help you, however his tests are incredibly confusing not because the material is difficult but because of the way he poses his questions as if to purposely deceive you.

I didn't care for this class. His tests were ridic! #1, you really can't just "ctrl+f" the answers, and #2, you can't really find them anywhere. he's kind of helpful in that he'll answer your email within the week, except with a 3 week class with a test every friday, you need a response sooner.

Took his class during the summer. We weren't told how we would be graded until the last week of class, well past the W or drop deadline. Lectures were pointless. Tests were out of the text and were extremely specific. Tests questions came from the text's test bank, so if you answered a question correctly and had logic to back it up, it was wrong.

Murnal is great. All on-line format is definitely different but interesting. Don't low ball the tests as you need a detailed understanding of the material as well as a workable index system to find answers. He is very responsive to e-mail- Overall, a great experience with a great professor

Nice guy, whose daily updates and lectures make this online course somewhat fun. HOWEVER, it is an EXTREME amount of work, in a short timespan. Be prepared to do it, and don't get behind in the readings. I'm not a standout student, and I earned a B+, but I had to work incredibly hard to get it. Do the same and you can expect something similiar.

This class was demanding and time consuming. It is easy to get within the B range, but an A isn't impossible, just need to keep on top of everything, meaning stay active with discussion and even harass him. Show him you are putting in effort and you are bound to do better than you expect.

Nice Guy. A lot of reading. Tests are a little crazy. I did all the readings well, Knew right where to turn in the notes for any test question. Many choices that are straight from the readings, word for word are wrong, and will leave you wondering why. It's nearly Impossible to get an A. A grade in the B range is easy to get though

Nice guy. The class is not bad at all, you download all the readings and you are tested on the material each week. The tests are pretty straightforward but they do make you think. Not as easy of an A as one makes you think but an A- is definitely very easily attainable. He's a nice guy even though we never get to see what he actually looks like.

Took an online class. Kept me reading the material every day. Was interesting and has a good sense of humor. The grades were very fair, if you study and understand the matierial you will do just fine. Provided basic knowledge and information helpful in other econ classes I am taking. Good professor!
