Doesn't show up to class 99% of the time, only for lab exams. TA's teach everything. She's strict on following the rules and can be mean. She takes away phones/yells at people for sleeping. CQS 111 is a fairly easy class, MARK UP BOOK AND MAKE CHEAT SHEETS! You can bring them to exams. It will be your key to getting an A.

St. Clair... what a character. She actually came to most of my classes, however instead of teaching she generally just asked us about our weekends. It was funny in the beginnings but its starting to become more of a "why am I actually here??" She's really nice though

Incredibly nice teacher and very helpful. I haven't had her for lab section but the one time she taught us was quite nice. Best way to get ready for the tests is to make the cheat sheets, if you do that then you're set for a good grade. Overall great teacher.

Don't be late for lab. Don't text in class. Don't sneeze. Make her like you and you're set. Very slooooow lecturer...oh boy and I can rarely hear her when she sits at her computer. First lab exam was insane and then second one was a joke.

I am in CQS 111 currently as it is required of all freshman. From what I have heard from my TA as well as other talk, this class used to be very productive and functional. From my experience I assume that things are very different this year. She doesn't answer emails and it unclear what is expected of us in the lab sections. Easy but frusterating.

She can both be a very nice and rude person. If you treat her with respect and get to know her she can be very nice. I would recommend having her for lab, its useful. all the assignments are straight forward. in lecture however she is a completely different person. she wont let you use the bathroom and she will kick you out if you are on your phone

cqs 111 lab sections are great. i learned a lot about excel functions related to business use. she's a wonderful professor, funny and enthusiastic :) she can be a little scary sometimes..but as long as you do your work you'll be fine. and if you participate a lot in class, she'll love you!

Freshman coming into this class beware. She yells at people for going to the bathroom..... no joke. shes boring, she tries to sound smart but i think she doesnt really know what shes saying. nobody does. shes boring, shes a pro at babbling about nothing. if you get stuck with her, good luck.

GREAT TEACHER!! St. Clair is my favorite teacher at BU. She's a great lecturer. However, the class notes, tests and assignments are given by Dr. Foreman (see his ratings) who doesn't care for students at all. Most assignments are easy. Midterm hunt + javascript are impossible. Ute is great though. If you have to take the class, take it with her!

She teaches the labs, which the tests are open book and easy. She's a really annoying professor. She wears heels and coats that are fit for someone much younger than she is. She's really hard to get in contact with by e-mail and has an attitude when you show up at her office. I received an A but I would never want to see this professor again.
