Prof. Kirch is so awesome! He is smart, nice, an easy grader, fair, and helpful. He makes concepts clear and pretty easy to understand. People who don't like him are just lazy or really dumb. He's a great person and a great teacher. He wants his students to do well in his classes and in life. Too bad he's retiring!

Graduated 15 years ago. Took Murray every chance I could (at least 5 semesters). If you want a deep understanding of the art of programming, you want Murray. I attribute much of my career success to knowledge and skills learned from him. Challenging classes for serious students.Yes he says ummm alot between making u smart. Get over it. "Have fun!"

Nicest guy in the world. Knows his stuff and can explain it well. He's always willing to help after class. Very fair with tests, and projects are sometimes fun. Definitely take him. CS overview was cake, easy A. Computer Algorithms you have to work for, but you have to love the weekly journals.

This was a good class. I went in thinking I new all the subject matter, but I learned a lot! The prof really knows what he's talking about, and it's obvious he has a lot of experience with the subject matter. I wish more kids had shown up for the class, it was pathetic how many ditched it :(
