Very clear instructions. Teaches accounting in a way the student can easily understand it. If you don't show up to class, you probably wont pass.

A good guy but lectures are painfully boring. Homework due almost every class. A lot of quizzes but he only counts 5 of them. Kind of a lot of papers for an accounting class but most of the time you could work on them in a group. Exams were tough, especially the multiple choice. Grading scale for the class is funky.

In my opinion, Vernon is a good Accounting professor. He gives a little bit of homework, but gives you points just for trying it. He tells you exactly what will be on the exams. The multiple choice can be tricky, so read the chapters before the exams. Quizzes are just like the homework so study that and you will do great.

Overall a good professor. Tell you exactly what is going to be on the exams and gives you practice multiple choice questions that resemble the exam questions. Pay attention in class and ask him for help when you need it and you will do fine.

Dr. Kwiatkowski is a good guy. His homework and papers he has arent bad at all, pretty easy points. He gives you links to practice multiple choice questions that will be similar to the exam only with different numbers. Practically tells you all the write out problems that will be on the exam as well. Not a bad professor but you need to study.

Dr. Kwiatkowski's lectures can seem a little boring at times, but if you pay attention just a little, you should be fine. Homework assignments are gone over the class period they're due, so no need to rush through them outside of class.

The average class consists of him doing example problems. He does a good job of explaining problems that will directly show up on quizzes and exams. Tells you exactly what to know for exams. There is also a few easy group projects. If you go to class and do the practice homework problems he assigns then you will do fine.

You'll have to read the book yourself to learn most of the material. Not overly concise. All he does in class is do example problems from the book. 2 exams, 1 cumulative final. Tells you the write-out questions on the exams beforehand. 3-4 group projects that are a pain and unrelated to the material though.

Pretty good teacher, nothing to complain about but wasn't one of those teachers that would be your favorite. He goes over the homework before you turn it in, so you don't really have to do it. He does take attendance, but there's no grade for it. There's some quizzes and he drops the lowest two or three. Only two exams, but they are hard.

He is very boring to listen to. He lectures every single class. Go to office hours and he is helpful. he has 8 quizzes but only grades 5 which is nice. Not a bad grader. If you do the homework, take the quizzes, and study for exams you'll pass the class no problem.

Old guy but cracks a few dry jokes every now and then. His lectures are so boring, but his class offers a lot of points to help, he tells you what is on each exam exactly. If you put your effort towards the class it will pay off. He raised my final grade from a 76% to and 80% without me even asking.

I got a D+ in 250 with Rusch and did so much better with him. He's been at CMU for awhile and respects students well. Lectures are boring, but the exams, assignments, quizzes, and projects are pretty easy. Did not put much time into the course and was able to pull off a decent grade for ACC course.

This guy is the worst. I cannot stay awake during lecture. He starts teaching one thing, jumps to another, jumps back to the first thing, and just is scattered. Exams are hard and there is information on it that you don't even learn. DO NOT take this guy.

Although, he appears to be a nice guy, his lectures are extremely boring and confusing. Expect to teach yourself 95 percent of the material. The book will be your best friend for 16 weeks. The average for his exams are in the D range, and are also confusing.

lectures are pointless and boring. Study for exams and get the study guide at the library that he will suggest. Make sure you do well on the quizzes and projects they're easy points. Overall he isn't that bad, and there is minimal homework.

This professor is very useless with no concern for his students or their learning. His lectures usually cover the homework that was due and exam averages are around 60%. Prepare to teach yourself and hope that it is on the exams. I had a tutor and he even didn't understand how this prof worded his questions.

The class made a boring subject more boring. Classes seemed to drag on. Began to get the feeling that Vern just wanted to get through each day with little effort. Does give a lot of easy points. Prepare to teach yourself!

First off, if you like boring lectures that look like they were taken out of Ferris Bueller than this class is for you! Expensive textbook and no use of blackboard adds to the fun. Nice guy but not a fun subject at all.
