Possibly my number one prof since coming to Brock. Very clear, very easygoing, extremely knowledgeable and seems to really enjoy his work. Students know exactly what's expected of them and can in turn expect to be graded and treated fairly. I will definitely make an effort to take more of his classes

I had Professor Wickett in first year for HIST 1F90, and I took his second year course 2P15 just to have him as a professor. His guidelines for assignments are fairly unspecified, but you can always run ideas by him. He's one of the funnier history profs, and he's so passionate which makes lecture interesting - go to lecture it ties everyrhing in!

He's pretty easy going and has a good sense of humour. Most of the classes he teaches are really interesting and you can apply to other classes you take as well. He is a fair marker and if you put even a little effort into it you should get a good mark.

I really respect Professor Wickett as an educator and an individual, and I think many students who have experience with his classes would say the same. He's a very genuine person and really cares about helping his students to succeed. His lectures are clear and entertaining, and he makes himself available to answer questions or offer help.

I had him in my first year and now I'm in my third year and enrolled in 2 of his classes. He's such a great professor. He's really understanding and helpful. His lectures are really easy to follow-- it's like he's telling a story and it makes the material really easy to understand and remember.

Great prof. One of the absolute best that I've had while at Brock. Took this course last year and his semester teaching it was my favourite. He's down to earth and knows his stuff. He makes the history a woven story rather than fact-telling and his lectures are clear and concise, no need for guess work. Hilarious; would take his courses over again

He was such a great prof! A lot of history profs can be a little dry, but he lectured like he was telling a story that he was a part of. He really knows his stuff and made it so much easier to appreciate and remember material! Super cool guy!!

Fairly easy course. Laid back guy that knows his stuff and tells it how it is. Lid back in his marking too. Readings aren't bad. Gave a course pack instead of having to buy like 5 books so that was nice.

One of the best classes I've taken at Brock. His lectures were extremely clear (he uses powerpoint so it's very easy to follow) and he cracks lots of jokes and uses examples to help you wrap your head around concepts. Straightforward assignments but lots of reading for seminar every week. Very approachable and understanding professor.
