What a joke of a class. Pointless busy work. Aimless essay to write. She changed it so that there's 1 individual paper & 1 group paper. English should not required if you aren't an English major. This is money hungry UNCC at its best.

Ms Perry is by far my favorite teacher at UNCC. She is so nice and caring. The class seemed hard at first, but she ended up cancelling assignments and cancelling class on thursdays for half the year. 3 major paper grades, but she is an easy grader so dont stress about writing the papers! VERY WORTH GETTING UP AT 8AM FOR THIS CLASS!

Take this class if you want an easy A. She is such a sweet old lady, and tells jokes that are not funny but you laugh because she thinks they are funny. Only two papers and a power point presentation. The class is useless but its a definite A.

Only 2 papers for the semester and 1 powerpoint presentation based on "Listening is an act of Love". She is nice. But i must say, watch out for unfunny jokes to be told, followed by her hysterically laughing at them, while the whole class remains silent, and you have to pretend-laugh to not make her feel bad.

STRAIGHTFORWARD 'A'. By the mid of spring 2009, she canceled almost half of the entire syllabus so we had to write only two papers and other very easy HWs. She first asked us to write 30 journals on "Three Cups of Tea" =| but at the mid of the semester she decided to make it only a short exam of ten-discussion questions on Blackboard. Go with it :)

TAKE THIS CLASS!!! easy and laid back professor. she canceled 3 of 5 papers. she can be a little bit out there and off the wall at times but other than that the class is great and it keeps your attention. half way through the semester she decided to cancel classes on thursdays for the rest of the semester so we only went to class once a week

very very easy! i love her. she really does make herself crack up...even when NO ONE else is laughing. but its kinda funny. she does know what shes talking about. only 3 papers. last one was a group paper and you make a 10 min video...VERY FUN! its creative...the bigger the group, the less writing for each person...take herrr!!

The best English class that I have ever taken. The teacher is really easy but she knows what she is doing. You only write 2-3 papers throughout the course of the semester and she usually doesn't require you to do all of them. She doesn't require you to attend either and the assignments are very straightforward. Great class, great teacher. TAKE IT
