Mangaliso is a great person to talk to but he is terrible at teaching. A lot of stuff in the exam, ewwww, GROSS. Some teachers are like that; smart, talented, but terrible at teaching, Mangaliso is one of them!

Great professor! He's very enthusiastic and cares so much about his students. He has iclicker questions for class. Short writing assignments due every few weeks and 3 exams. Lots of extra credit! He is very intelligent and personable. The exams are easy multiple choice, I study for 1-2 hours. If you do bad in this course its on you.

Mr. Mangaliso is the best professor I've met at UMass. He gives numerous opportunities to get an A in the class. Exams fairly reflect what we've learned in class. Invites amazing panelists to discuss certain topics that really help understand the material. Gives a lot of extra credit. Please go to his office hours and get to know him! He's a gem!

Makes you come to class, but doesn't do anything with the class time. Literally talks about nothing for an hour, then rushes through the slides in 5 minutes and acts like we should have learned something. Shows movies instead of teaching. Has panels that literally have nothing to do with the class. Just an awful, awful professor. The worst.

Attendance is mandatory but is pointless. He is without a doubt the worst professor within Isenberg. I do not think there is anyway around this course. Tests are very textbook specific. You will not learn a single thing.

Harder class than it should be. Tips: write down all of the in-class i-clicker questions b/c they tend to show up on exams (which are all MC), pay attention as he'll say that certain concepts will be on the exam, skim the book and focus on the terms in margins, and study the ppt slides. written hws are tedious but not hard. Do the extra credit.

I studied for all 3 exams with varying levels of effort - ranging from not reading a single word to studying 4 days before the exam date. However, on all 3 occasions I ended up with a 76. Something tells me he just standardizes the scores. Also, go through the practice exam.

He comes off as a nice caring guy and classes are relatively easy along with homework. The tests are nothing like the homework and his slides won't help you, so get ready to memorize 5 chapters at one time with about 100 vocab words. With each question you have to pick the most correct one. He is obsessed with himself and wastes a lot of time.

Do not take this if it isn't required. Mandatory lectures that make no sense and slides that make even less. You'll have to go blind into the exams because anything you study will not be on them. He acts like a saint for giving out extra credit when in reality gave a total of .5 points on your final average. Really nice guy but has a thick accent

Extremely broad and poorly structured class where you learn a little about lots of things. Studying for the tests is a crapshoot and you're lucky if you cover all the material that will be on them even with the study guides. He is hard to understand and unclear in many ways. Make sure you do all the HW to make up for inevitably low test grades

Mzamo is an excellent professor that cares a tremendous amount about his students. The class is relatively difficult and extremely textbook/lecture heavy, however, it is very doable if you simply put in the work. He is always willing to go above and beyond for his students; just be prepared to put in a lot of work.

Mzamo is a great guy and clearly cares about his students but that does not always translate grade-wise. To do well on the exams, get ready to read the online textbook. Material isn't hard, but it's dense. Overall, definitely more work than the other 301s but if you read you should do fine.

Mangaliso is an terrible professor. His tests consist of 50 multiple choice questions in which all 4 answers could be correct, but you have to choose which one he feels is right. Lectures stink, and he reads right from the slide. His homeworks are simple page long responses and he grades them very tough just because. Take this online if you can.

Absolute worst professor in not only Isenberg, but the whole school. A class that most of the kids aren't MGMT majors and everyone is forced to take it. Take it online if possible. Exams are based on which answer fits the best. Meaning all four of the answers are correct. Did not come out of this with any new knowledge. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!!!!!

This should be an easy class, but no, Mangaliso makes this class horrible. Iclicker attendence during every class and he gets MAD when we get the answers wrong when he doesnt teach!!Don't even bother with the tests, you can study all you want, but it won't help. Random questions that you have to get lucky on to get correct. Don't take this!!!

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. Take this class online if you can. Writing assignments are graded harshly, which should be easy 100s. Exams are extremely random. The correct answer could be any of the 4 options. You must pick the one HE wants you to pick. Studied for hours and still got a C. Garbage. Nice guy though.

Absolute garbage professor. Multiple choice exams that each question has multiple right answers. Completely self-absorbed, fails at conveying any information and is unfortunately the only professor for the class in which everyone in Isenberg must take.

Lectures are extremely boring and Professor Mangaliso will teach you absolutely nothing. Exams are challenging and had nothing to do with his letures. Very tough grader on the homework assignments but this is probably a class every Isenberg student has to take. They should replace him with a better professor

Nice guy, horrible professor. Lectures are boring and irrelevant to exams. Thinks highly of self. Exams are 50 random facts straight from textbook. Spent lots of time watching Undercover Boss and Office Space, which is an embarrassment to Isenberg. Very tough grader. Learned nothing. "Offers" extra credit if you donate money or clothes. Avoid!

Lecture based class that forces your attendance through sporadic iClicker questions. Often goes off rambling, but I give him some credit since it is such a widespread topic. Not great at conveying the material or drawing attention, and is also a very tough grader on his weekly homework assignments.
