Balcom isn't that bad!!! Yes she makes you do work before your class. Is that a new concept? What is wrong with reading the chapter before class? She will be tuff on student who do not do their homework. In my opinion, do your homework and shut up.

Comment:

Gave a lot of notes which was very helpful. Didn't like the tests. They were multiple choice and very few problems to work out. Won't cancel class if she's sick; she'll find a sub. She's somewhat of a hypocrit but not a bad person or professor.

Kind of unclear sometimes, and fairly unorganized, but she is ALWAYS available to help if you need it. She gives her home phone and says to call ANYTIME you need help! Her exams are really hard but they challenge you...you have to work to get an A but it IS possible if you try! Decent prof :)
