She's ridiculous and impossible to work with. If you're the perfect student and perfect person she probably won't have a problem with you but god forbid life happens. I encountered serious personal issues the semester I had her, and she was the only one of my professors to not work with me so I could complete my work. Ridiculous.

Ms. Fairley is a nice woman and she loves seeing her students do great things. This class was boring. I didn't want to go because I never felt like I missed anything except she only accepts work on paper and NO late work, so it forced me to go. Take newswriting with Nan! Casual class, sweet lady. Get out early every day, sometimes only takes 30 minutes. Class is just her going over assignments and passing back work. Easy grader, tells you what you can improve on your next story. Need to read text for tests, but they're easy. Slept through test and she was understanding and let me take it.

Dr. Fairley is so sweet. Lectures in class are boring, since feature writing is learned by going out and doing it. Her notes are super confusing and "quizzes" (i.e. tests) are just regurgitating random lists on her notes. Can be disorganized with due dates and papers, but she's sweet to work it out. She'll help you as much as she can.

Ms. Fairley is a great teacher. She is definitely hands off but very willing to help you when needed. The tests are not hard if you study for them right, definitely read your book. Take her, you will learn and enjoy the class.

Ms. Fairley was a super laid back professor. Definitely study for her quizzes they are all fill in blank. She gives you study guides for the tests and if you keep all of you quizzes throughout the semester and read you should be fine. She is a great professor and is willing to help you whenver you need it! Take her you will enjoy the class!!

I really like Fairley. She's very nice and gives second chances to those who deserve them. I say she's not unclear, she's just kind of hands-off, which can be bad for beginners. Go to the Web sites she suggests. Mimic. You'll be fine. Seek extra help if you want to do well. She's good with that. The class can be dry if you know editing and design.

Ms. Fairley is a very relaxed teacher. She doesn't expect a lot, but you do have to put in some time to the class, but it's not bad at all. Go to her for extra help and she'll go pretty easy on you. She is disorganized a lot of the time though, but it's not a big deal.

Really laid back, takes things easy and doesn't keep you in class the whole time. BUT at the end of the semester we had a ton of work b/c we hadn't done much the rest of the time. She's nice but very disorganized, her class wasn't hard but she was so unclear that it drove us all crazy.
