Very clear Professor. Since it IS a math class, attendance is a must. As someone who struggles with Math, Adcox knows the fundamentals and can teach the necessary basics to help you pass. Homework is optional but recommended and her lectures are mandatory. For people who struggle with Math, Adcox is a solid teacher.

OVERALL A GOOD TEACHER. BE AWARE THAT THERE WILL BE QUIZZES OF 1-2 QUESTIONS LONG AT THE BEGINNING OF ALMOST EVERY CLASS MEETING; IF YOU DO THE HOMEWORK YOU SHOULD GET 100% ON THEM. TESTS ARE FAIRLY EASY IF OF COURSE YOU TAKE THE TIME TO STUDY YOUR LECTURE NOTES AND GO OVER THE EXAM REVIEW PROBLEMS WHICH ARE ALMOST IDENTICAL TO THOSE ON THE EXAM.

very boring, yells at and Embears the student who may not get it, no extra credit, hard on grade, she does know her stuff but lacks that abilty to teach students who are bad at math.

Overly theoretical. Even in the 18 week course went into too much theory. For a business student you will be lost. The class started with about 50 students and about 12 took the final. I did not pass and then saw many retake. Really avoid this professor... even the sharpest of students got like a B. Maybe for MATH 130 she is okay -- but for BUSINESS CALC... just try Sorcabal.

gives very little extra credit, quizes almost every other day, but tests on exactly what she lectures on, but the lectures are hard to sit through, shes very boring. not a hard class if u attend.

Let me start by saying this: NO HOMEWORK. Never got a single homework assignment in the whole class. Just sit down in class and take notes and the tests are easy. Group (that's right, GROUP) quizzes every week. I highly recommend this class as it was very easy.

She knows her materials. Tough on grading--methods does not give you the points, correct answers does. Study & know the study guides to be prepare for her test & you'll be alright. Tests are kind of hard and tricky. If calculus is not your thing, avoid her if you can, the tests will kill you.

Nancy knows her stuff, but moves way too fast. She often would yell at/embarrass the students who gave wrong solutions to problems she was working out in class. I perceived her as being a very cold woman who is LONG overdue for retirement.

Ok she is boring but I aced her class. She is so librarian - ish but she's easy. Take her. She practically gives you some of the questions on her test when she gives a run down of the exam. Just pay attention.
