Took her class, regretted to soon after. She's a nice lady and cares for her students, it's just the way she grades and the amount of work for a 101 class is ridiculous.

Comment:

Bisbee was pretty lenient when it came to turning assignments in on time. I know the last couple of essays I ended up turning in late and she did not mind. So, there's a positive. But, one thing that could be a negative for her is she doesn't put grades online until the end of the term, and even then it's just the final grade.

Comment:

Professor Bisbee is a great teacher. She talks a lot but that makes her relatable. The class has a lot of mandatory work but if you miss a few assignments you can turn them in late. Old fashioned grading not posted online. You sort of just guess at your grade. 4 essays including the final. You peer review, turn it in, edit, & turn in a final draft.

I absolutely love Mrs. Bisbee! Great teacher, very helpful. Cares about her students a lot. She's been teaching at Clark for a long time and definitely knows her stuff. Homework consists of lots of reading and grammar exercises and a total of 4 essays throughout the quarter. If you show up to class and do all of your work, definitely an easy A.

Mrs. Bisbee is an amzing english teacher. She has been teaching for a very long time, so she knows her stuff. Extremly helpful, and very willing to help you. She is incredibly knowledgable, understanding, and interested in your work. The books are essencial to pass and to do the homework, which can be a lot at times. I would totally take her again.

She is very nice and EXTREMELY HELPFUL! She assigns a lot of homework, so I would not recommend taking her class with any other heavy work classes. Her class is fast-paced, but she is a great teacher. She is also very easy to talk to. Furthermore, after taking her class I feel confident that I can do well on writing assignments in other classes!

She would take attendance to grade your participation. There were 2 textbooks and she assigned homework assignments which were graded. We had a few small quizzes, no final exammidterm There were 4 2-3 pg essays & 1 5-6 pg essay. She was flexible with the due-dates and gave you the chance to fix your essays after she graded them. Overall Easy A

I really enjoyed Professor Bisbee's class. Her lectures were very interesting and she made everything make sense. There is A LOT of reading involved in this class and I don't recommened skipping because she summarizes everything really well for the quizes and tests. Be ready for the work load, but I still recommened her for American Literature.

Lectures are long and boring. She doesn't post anything on Canvas either, but gives out a ton of assignments each class. She is extremely flexible with due dates though. Don't let work pile up. Papers are 1000+ words each, and she grades them tough. Quizzes and tests are mega-easy though. A lot of reading and research for essays. One presentation.

Mrs. Bisbee is a really nice teacher, and she gives really good feedback on essays. You definitely have to work for the grade, but you do gain a good amount of knowledge from all the assignments. The core of this class is writing four 1000 word essays, but the best part is that you get to choose your topic from the four given topics.

If you need help, Professor Bisbee is there for you. She does assign a lot of reading and grammar exercises. However, as long as you do the work, you'll get credit for it. She is also very lenient with due dates. Bisbee gives amazing feedback on the essays.

Bisbee is a really nice lady. She accepts late work, you could get away with skipping class, and the last few weeks of the course we got out at least a half hour early every day (tuethurs class). Overall the class was easy but not interesting at all. Would recommend if long, boring classes are ok.

Ms. Bisbee is one of the best professors I've ever had. She requires a ton of reading (expect 4+ hours a week) but she does it right along with the students. She's clear, she's funny and she cares! It was not an easy course- it was actually a little hard- but it was the most rewarding class I've ever been in. If you can, take Ms. Bisbee's class!

Professor Bisbee was amazing! She was the best instructor I've had so far. She made things really clear and accepted late work for no penalty. If you do the work she assigns and attend class, you will get an A. I highly recommend her! :)
