If you come to every class and pay attention you will do fine. She is clearly passionate about the subject so its not that boring of a class. You do not need to be a math genius at all, most of its formulas and she gives them to you before every exam. Take good notes! You do not need the textbook at all unless you want to do practice problems.

Amazing teacher. Passionate and caring. Wants you to do well. Lectures were always interesting and I really looked forward to class everyday. Homework was fun and tests were based primarily on lecture material, which often was not covered by the book. If you have a chance to take a class with her, I would suggest you take it.

I had her for cognitive development and psych stats. Overall, I believe she is a great teacher, who genuinely cares about how students perform in her class. Her lectures are thorough and very, very engaging. Just make sure you attend the lectures, have a sincere desire to learn the subject, and read the book.

She isn't a bad teacher, and she does give her students help when they go to her. She's clear, and understandable, but doesn't always give the best example when asked to clarify. The project that she hands out is very hard, and require alot of time, especially during finals week.

Great teacher. She is so smart and knows what she's talking about. Her classes can be hard but if you go see her for help you can clarify the material. So helpful! And... she's really nice. She is one of the best Psych teachers at Alfred.

This class was amazingly awful thanks to furlong's mundane and lifeless teaching. This class caused me to change my major. Her tests are ridiculous and don't actually test what you know, only how you can figure her stupid questions out.
