Mrs. Horton is a good professor! I would take her again. You will make notes to go along with every section although, sometimes it seems like some problems are not in the notes. I disliked the amount of homework but you generally have two days to get it done. If you miss class notes will be posted but do not miss too much or you will not pass.

Shes amazing! She grades your homework & will let you make corrections up until the test day. Her instructions are very clear and she is always willing to help. I made an A on every test. She definitely cares about her kids as long as she sees that they put forth effort. My final grade was a 98%.

Mrs. Horton lectured the majority of the class, which made it difficult for me to focus on for the full amount of time. She did offer time at the beginning or end of class for questions about homework. She also allowed us to turn homework in early and have it graded so that we could correct it and turn it back in. Doing this helped a lot on tests.

I took "college mathematics" with her. Shes a GREAT math professor if your major doesn't require a bunch of math. Everything I've learned has been real world applicable and meant way more to me that a college algebra class would've. The way she teaches is in a way you can actually understand and she will answer any questions you have!

Nancy Horton is the greatest math teacher available if you don't plan to major in something mathy. She is excellent at explaining material in a way that helps you understand. I hate math, and I loved her class. Do the homework, take notes, and you will have to try to not earn an "A". She really is that good.

She can be tough, but if you ask for help - it's there. Make sure you study good for a tests. One mistake can really throw you off. However, she is best option for those whose major don't require algebra

I was not impressed with this professor. She is very long winded and explains things in the most complicated way possible. You'll need a textbook for homework (which is optional, but suggested)

Took her for QBA. Everything is clear from the start. She teaches lesson, assigns homework (not for a grade but you should definitely do it) and then next class she will answer any and all questions students have. Gives you the answers to the homework. Gives study guides to tests. You have a take home quiz almost every day but they are easy A's.

The highest grade I have ever received in a mathematics class was a D. In Mrs Horton's I got an A+. NO ALGEBRA IS USED IN THE CLASS. ---Homework: You are given a list of assignments every chapter. You have until test day to finish each assignment and can turn in as many times as needed, until test day, to get a 100%.

Very straight-to-the-point, there wasn't any room for confusion or misunderstanding. She was very clear in her directions and expectations, and her lessons came directly from the book. If you're already good in math, this class is an easy-A!

I had Horton for College Math. She is really good at giving us notes we actually need and she lets us turn homework in before tests and if we are not satisfied with the grade we can keep correcting and turning it in until test day. This is very helpful!

If you love Math, this class will be super easy for you. If you HATE Math, this professor will make you see it in a different light. She is pretty easy, and very nice. My only problem with her was that she talks like she is talking to like 3rd graders... But I learned new ways of doing things.

DO NOT TAKE HER! She goes through class explaining the long way and then shows you the actual equation for the test. She talks to you like you are in elementary school. She is super hard to talk to. Do not recommend her at all
