You can use the book for tests and the exam, but she makes the questions really deep into the book. Makes students watch too many movies. Discussion posts are extremely time consuming and excessive. Lectures were interesting, and she is funny, but none of my notes or the lecture content were used for anything. Exam was the worst. READ THE BOOK!

She was one of my first professors at Western. I found the class easy as long as you paid attention to lecture. The only time the book was used was for tests. All the tests were open book, they were tricky but you had the book so it didn't matter. She made the class fun!

My advisor told me to take this class for an easy grade but I really wish I didn't. Each assignment and discussion has like ten questions each. You barley use the textbook. There are a ton of boring videos to watch and the material is not new if you took sex Ed. Her feedback and grading comments are usually rude. You write a ton of papers also.

Would not recommend her online class to anyone. Questions on the quizzes aren't even in the textbook or powerpoints, I literally got a D on her syllabus quiz because she asked questions that weren't even in her syllabus. If you took sex ed in high school, there's no reason to take this class unless you like writing 3 research essays a week.

I took this class as an elective because it was online and seemed like it couldn't be that hard. WRONG. I probably wrote 5 research papers. Her "discussion" topics were 10 questions within 1. If this is not geared towards your major, don't take it.

One of the nicest teachers ever. She makes the content easy to comprehend and her assignments aren't that bad. It's a fun class, she has speakers and shows movies and videos, she tries to make the content relevant and considering she's older than a college student she does a good job. Just show up and listen. The class was very worth it.

Nancy is definitely hilarious and makes the class very interesting! However, she is extremely slow at grading and is very unorganized, I had assignments missing at the end of the semester that I know were turned in and she couldn't find them so my grade took the hit. Other than organization skills, she's awesome.

Not a hard class, but the quizzes can be difficult. I didn't buy the book and still got an A. Class participation easy, discussions aren't always fairly graded but talk to her and she is reasonable. Great course!

I really wanted to like her, until she started giving her views on subjects she had no right to. She isn't a bad prof, just really opinionated. Easy class to get an A in, just do everything you're supposed to, and none of it is hard. She makes you take a lot of notes though.

i took this class online. you need the book for the quizes. every week is a writing assignment (500 words) and there are 5 additional research papers (2pgs each). It's easy but it takes up a lot of time. easy grader. if you do all the work you will get an A. Quizes (4) are right out of the chapters she says. easy but very time consuming.

Nancy is the coolest! EASY "A" if you go to class... I wanted to go to class every day I had it, and i hate goin to classes... She makes Human Sexuality hillarious and interesting by cracking jokes the whole class and telling you stuff about sex you would want to know... Take this class, its awesome!

human sexuality is an easy GPA booster that will be fun and amusing. nancy sets the class up so your grade is based off of on-line quizzes and attendence. she is a nice lady, and knows her subject well. it is an all around fun class, and Nancy King makes it interesting and interactive (plus you'll learn alot about sex!).

Teacher was good overall. most assignments are online and she says she'll help you if you have issues w/ ur compy or anything else, all you have to do is email her.
