Loved his lectures. Took him many years ago. Made everything so accessible and understandable, and put everything in the correct categorization and context. He inspired me, and taught me more about philosophy than I have learned in ages from other sources. Still remember the things he thought and use them almost daily. Wish I could see him again :)

Class was never longer than 25 minutes... unless he was talking about real estate. No engaging conversations or classroom discussions. "Essays" were 14pt font no more than 300 words... if you're a slacker you''ll do fine , but if you're actually looking to learn and explore ideas... look for someone else.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. He made the subject interesting and let the class out early because his lectures were clear and to the point. He uses examples that are easy to follow to make difficult concepts understandable. The tests are very short and easy. Jot down the notes he makes during class and you'll be fine.

All you people who expected a philosophy class need to read the class description before signing up. It says LOGIC. Logic is part of philosophy so deal with it. Habib is a fantastic logician who cuts through the philosophical babble and distills logic down to its basics. Take his symbolic logic class.

the best teacher I have ever had, everybody that rates him bad probably never showed up to his class because he doesn't take roll. he dismisses class early, and always talks about his old job at ralphs. best guy ever.

He is a wonderful man and a great professor. I learned so much in his classes. Did an honors contract with him. He gives you 8-10 question quizzes that are simple as long as you study your notes. He is such a sweet man. Very helpful and clear. I used the book only when I didn't understand something from the lecture. I def recommend him.

Logic class. Dude is easy. He gives you an extra credit test before every real test. He's a cool guy, the material was kind of lame....more like math than philosophy, but i got an A, and i didnt do good on every test so,take what you want from that. His book is $12 bucks too, which is cool. Dont expect a philosophy class, there was no discussion

You *must* be fluent in English to succeed in Habib's Phil 6. All who were did well, and those who weren't suffered. Course is straightforward, and book is cheap because he wrote it himself. Tests only on material in the book, and lectures are as entertaining as a logic course can get. Highly recommended, but you *must* be fluent in English!

Horrible course- test in the text book very ambiguous-no patience- and its actually a logic course not philosophy course-often will often stop teaching to "run errands" and break into strange personal stories. Don’t take him if you don't have to.

Real cool guy, I'd take him again. Took him for honors and it was pretty easy. I did no reading or anything and got a B, the sad part is he didn't assign that much reading anyway so with a little effort you should get an A. Lectures are short but real helpful and tests are half take home with some real short in class MC that isn't difficult at all.

love this man, took him for phil 1 got a B+ and working on phil 2. recommend reading book, gives extra credit quizes that HELP! for the tests. test range from 10-15MC. attendance not mandatory but if you want an A you should be there everyday cos his notes help a milllionnn!! hes sooo cuteee:) and allows contracting 4 honors if u ask him nicely.
