Nancy gives great examples and explanations of the concepts. Very fair grader, adjusts things if the majority of class struggles with a question on a test. Very approachable. Willing to put in extra work if students need it, and to hear student suggestions. Really takes the time for her students, but will hold you to standards for future success.

Super funny and easy marker. She will mark your answer right if most of the class got it wrong. Group project only worth 5%, paper worth 10%. All super easy to get a good grade with. I didn't look at the book once and got 85%

I really enjoyed Nancy as a prof her lecturs are a little on the long side and she relies heavily on the power point. But she is really nice and caring and when we had group project drama she was super accommodating. Overall pretty good prof.

It's just the middle the semester, but I cannot wait to rate this awesome prof. The contents are tough to understand but Nancy explain it very well and gave us a few examples in real life to help us understand. If you take &review her notes, you will do great! VERY clear on the expectations. She just wants her students to succeed! The best!!

Group project was an absolute waste of personal and lecture time (but easy A). Textbook is mandatory, class attendance is not (everything is on BB). 3 noncumulative exams and 1 group assignment. Exams were fair (but all textbook based) - she usually gave about an extra 5% if more than half of the class struggled with q's.

I went from a C (didn't study until the final exam) to B after the final in this course. If you study for all her exams you'll be sure to get no less than an A. Such a great prof, and she'll bump the class average if she sees everyone got the question wrong.

Nancy is friendly and a very accommodating marker. Lectures are incredibly long and you literally go through a powerpoint for 3 hours every week. Does talk about the tests in class, but if you read the text thoroughly on your own time, you don't need to go. Usually ends up adding about 5% extra to exam marks.

Nancy is one of the best profs Ive ever had. Such a sweet lady and completely fair. Psych1105 has a lot of content but she makes it bearable and interesting. She is more than fair on exams and lets you explain yourself on M/C as to why you think something may be correct, and will often give you the mark for it. I would take another class with her

Nancy is a great prof, i would definitely recommend her. If the class gets certain questions wrong on the exams she takes the question off to boost everyone's mark. Tests are straight forward as long as you study and keep up, you will do fine!

Fantastic prof! She is nice, funny, down-to-earth, understanding, and extremely helpful. Had a hellish experience with the mandatory group project, and she was amazing about giving advice and getting involved when needed. She is extremely clear about tested material, and gives a very accurate outline about what will be on tests.

She is wonderful! The course is hard, and involves a lot of memorizing, but she tries her best to make sure everyone understands. She cares about her students, and as long as you show an effort and attend her classes you will pass (She is willing to bump grades up a % or 2). Not just an amazing prof, an amazing person!!

Nancy is an AMAZING prof! Her intro to psych is difficult due to the amount of material that you have to cover, but her teaching style is fantastic and she genuinely cares about her students. Any questions you may have are answered carefully and will be worked on until you understand better. I would love to be able to have her as my prof again!

She is a great prof. Any "negative" rating I do not think is on her part. Into classes cover an abundant amount of material and I think she really tries. She is funny and her examples really help. Text book use is heavy, but I believe that is the department. Plus, that is not necessarily a bad thing. I am taking a class with her again. Recommend!!

Nancy is a great prof. Not only does she provide you with great examples for difficult material, but she makes a 3-hour class entertaining (which is hard to do most of the time). Tests are very scenerio-based and difficult, you really have to apply your facts, but if you keep up and attend class you'll get the A. I highly recommend this prof!
