Do NOT take this class with her. Treats everyone like they are completely stupid and offers little to no help. Going into it, I knew the material was going to be tough, but I feel like she did nothing to help me. You do need the book; all of the homework comes from it. Honestly, avoid her if at all possible.

Class was not hard if you showed up...Homework and Quiz are about the same...Test are a little difficult but multiple choice...Quiz/homework are easy A's...If you know the concepts and vocab you will do well on the test..didn't do so well on the first test because it was such a different set up from the Quizes

Rusch is not a friendly person by any stretch of the imagination, but the class is not terrible. If you just look over the notes she gives you in class you will be prepared for the exams. She is not helpful at all though. Extremely dry and bitter woman.

Here is the honest truth.. Don't take her. She does not help you, homework everyday, does not like to teach. Quizzes are the same as homework but.. the exams are nothing like anything you learn. Exams are worth about 60% of your grade. Unless, you are a genius you will not get an A. plus, she doesn't give out much extra credit. Godawful class.

Overall good teacher. She can be stern at times, real tough on attendance and doing your work. She grades easy, but not on a curve. Pay attention, take notes, and understand/memorize the examples she gives in class. Exams are basic multiple choice; they're easy if you study.

Nancy is awesome! I had her for 250, then took her for 255, and took her for 301 as well. I got an A in all 3 classes. She is extremely nice and helpful. Doing the homeworks and studying for exams is needed, but not a ton. She always helped me with any questions I had. Take her if possible!

This class is not hard at all as long as you go to class and pays attention. She offers a bonus question at the beginning of every new chapter so make sure you read it before going to class cause you might need those points at the end of the semester. She also throws out the lowest quiz score at the end of semester. She's a good teacher.

Quizzes are somewhat hard, but not terrible, and tests are quite difficult. Homework pretty much everyday on material she never teaches and that isn't in the book. ipso facto, you're screwed. Tough break because she is the only professor that teaches this class. Not really funny or nice, too much lecture makes it hard to pay attention.

Very nice lady, very structured and rigorous class. Uses the 'comic sans' font on everything, which hurt my eyes. She's willing to help with office hours or additional support, and very well knows her field.
