Really nice, but is a super tough grader on the papers. There are online quizzes every week which are pretty easy, and there are lots of in-class assignments that aren't worth a lot of points, but really add up. Don't be surprised if you get failing grades of the first drafts of written work.

Nancy means well and tries to help her students. But the class was harder then it needed to be and organized poorly. She offers rewrites on her papers but they have to be exactly what she wants.

Whatever you do, don't take this professor. Understanding any of the projects due is a game of guessing. Fill in the blanks make you not hear what she's saying and before you know it, she's talking about a different topic. AVOID!!!!

Will help you if you ask for it. Be prepared to fail the first 3 assignments, but if you get to know her grading system and the way she wants things done you will get straight A's. Be prepared to do a lot of research but it will pay off in learning business law!!!

I do not have one nice thing to say about Prof White. She is SO unhelpful & rude. Exams are extremely hard, assignment are as well. When she grades your work you will most likely get a bad grade (so will everyone else in the class.) She allows you to redo assignment, even if you fix everything she told you to your grade will not improve by much.

She makes you grade your in-class assignments yourself, but will take off double the points if you mark one right if it is actually wrong. If she checks them herself, why do we have to grade them? Rude to students, powerpoints are terrible, and she is not very helpful. Attendance is not mandatory, but you probably will fail if you don't go. AVOID!!

Rude to her students. Literally will tell you how to do something, so you do it, and she grades it and it is wrong. And she makes you feel like an idiot for getting it wrong. She can be nice in general sometimes, but she is not a good teacher. I would never take her again. Avoid at all costs!

Literally treats you like an idiot. Plus, all you do in class is the in-class activities, which yes, can be helpful, but you do SO many of them, it's not even funny. Plus, you do things over and over again. She thinks she's an English major. Well, she's not. You will never live up to her expectations.

Terrible teacher. Thinks that she is better than everyone else. Tells you one thing, you do it, and then she says you're wrong. Makes us do things over and over again. We aren't in high school anymore. We know what we're doing. If you can, DON'T TAKE HER.

Whatever you do, avoid taking her. She is rude and thinks that she knows way more than anyone else. If you ask her a question, she pretty much makes you feel like an idiot for asking it. She says she is all about grammar, and yet makes more mistakes than a 5th grader. Marks you down on hw for ridiculous reasons. You NEVER live up to her expectatios

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This is the first review I have done and the only reason I felt it was necessary was to help future students avoid a ton of stress. The grades she gives out are ridiculous and she will not hesitate to make you feel stupid and evade helping you in any way.

Ms White is the the worst prof I have had at CMU. She is the hardest grader I have ever experienced in my life. She does allow you to re-do assignments, however, you will still fail them because nothing will ever meet her expectations. Her assignments are confusing and she will belittle you until you feel stupid. AVOID HER! You're welcome.

I liked this class with her. I learned a lot and she is a very fair teacher. She gives you feedback on your projects, and can redo them if you do not like your score. Be prepared for many quizzes (some are group and open note), and lots of homework. As long as you keep up with the chapters you should have no problem passing.

A very interesting course as she has been in the legal system for years and has all sorts of experiences to relate to the class. Just make sure you take good notes in class or you will not keep up.
