Literally the worst teacher I have ever had. He lectures verbatim from his slides and often gets sidetracked about people who won the Nobel Prize. Going to class is completely useless. His exams are SUPER hard and focus on unbelievably minute details that were probably never covered in class or his slides. This class wrecked my GPA. DO NOT TAKE.

You will learn more by watching the discovery channel than by going to this guys class. Unbelievably boring, horrible english, the whole package. His tests are incredibly hard. Extremely specific and not a care in the world for concepts. You might not survive this one

He is an awful teacher. Almost everything I learned was self taught and made an A because I took AP Bio in high school. You cannot even understand him because of a thick accent. Don't take his class.

If at all possible, avoid his class. I went to class almost every day, and it never helped me. Dr. Singh is very knowledgeable and nice, but he is the most difficult teacher to follow that I have ever had. His tests really focus on tiny details. Instead of learning biology, I learned how to take his tests. Very difficult class.

Dr. Singh is not an easy teacher and I would avoid him if possible. He focuses his tests on the tiniest details instead of concepts. To figure out the tiny details he wants you have to go to class. Otherwise, class is not helpful. Just use lecture notes and book. He is knowledgeable, but not good at teaching you

Dr. Singh is a very knowledgeable professor, but his tests are killer. He likes little details instead of concepts. He supplies lecture notes, but they are often unhelpful unless you know what he wants you to look for. It takes listening in class, SI sessions, reading the book, and studying for days to well in his class. Would not recommend

He is very knowledgable about biology, but his tests are hard and they only cover the little details. His notes are also out of order and unorganized.

TERRIBLE TEACHER. Literally learned nothing because I spent the entire class struggling to do well on the tests. Forget grasping the concepts, you need to know every little detail to be able to answer the test questions. Read the book, and pray for a miracle.

Avoid him if you can. He is very confusing and his lectures are hard to understand. I stopped going to class and just read the book and my test scores dramatically improved. Just be prepared to learn the material yourself. He does provide helpful outlines and some bonus. Overall, not a good teacher but manageable if you cant avoid him.

Read the book. Make sure to know the concepts with small details. SI sessions didn't help me; they were too generic in teaching the informations. I went to class 2/3 of the time. I taught myself instead of listening to him. He has a thick accent and hard to understand. He throws out some questions on exams.

I went to class 2/3 of the time and didnt listen. I taught myself everything STRAIGHT FROM THE BOOK AND HIS NOTES. If you take this class, YOU HAVE TO READ THE BOOK. Know the concepts and the details in the book, and youll get an A. Besides that his tests arent hard. Warning: he has a strong accent. I also didnt take AP Bio to do well in this class

AVOID HIM IF YOU CAN. He reads straight off the powerpoints, his tests are ridiculous and full of errors, and he is rude. If you must take him, go to every SI session you can and read the book to try to grasp concepts.

Worst biology teacher at Auburn! Reads straight off of slides and is insanely boring. Tests go way more in depth than his notes. He offers hardly any extra credit. Emailed him about my grade last semester and have yet to hear back from him.

i loved Singh. He was immensely helpful in the learning process. I didn't attend every class, which may have contributed to my B. But he taught well and was logical about tests and quantity of tested material. If you have any questions, do talk to him.

Professor Singh was very knowledgable on the subject material. He genuinely does not wish to fail anyone. As in any other class you can not simply expect to go to class and pass. Outside textbook reading and SI sessions are your best bet. Limited bonus opportunities were given for class attenance. I would take him again.

Basically just reads the notes off of his powerpoint and will occasionally explain a diagram from the book, but he posts his notes online and tests straight from them. He asks about the smallest details on tests, but he will drop questions that a lot of people miss, and he gave out a few bonus points. Not terrible, but not good either.

He isn't near as bad as everyone makes him out to be. It's pre-med Biology on the college level & it's supposed to be a little hard and require effort. He gives a TON of bonus points, drops questions on the tests that a lot of people miss, & bumps you up the next letter grade if you are close. I've been at Auburn for 2 years and this is my first A.

Dr. Singh seems like a nice guy, but he moves through the material quickly and is often unclear. His tests ask about small details, but he gives a good bit of bonus on the tests and posts his notes online. Overall difficult but manageable with a lot of work.
