Dr. Hanson was a great professor to have! Expect weekly summaries and discussion boards. For the summary, you're given a list of questions and you can choose as many as you want. It's just one page. The discussion board is just about a paragraph or two. You HAVE to be active on it tho. So just respond to 6 discussion boards and you're gucci.

The course isnt tough or difficult, the bio topics are easy. She posts the whole semester assignments so you can work ahead. 1 discussion board & 1 weekly paragraph summary of the questions she gives for the assignment. Its really not difficult the only issue is you have to respond and reply to other students dis. board (she wants 7 ppl or more)

One of the best online professors at SJU. She answers your emails within a few hours and she gives great feedback on all the work that you give her. Every Thursday we have a mini powerpoint, a 1 page summary, and some discussion board stuff due but trust me it isn't as bad as it sounds! Just start your discussion a little earlier during the week.

Took her online class. Very interesting topics, but expect a lot of discussion on Blackboard. Weekly papers and discussions, a midterm and a final. You'll receive a good grade if you do your work every week

This class was interesting. I learned a lot through this class. You have to write a single page double-spaced about whatever subject was covered that week but it's a breeze. The only other work is a powerpoint presentation and a paper on your subject for your powerpoint which shouldn't be too difficult.

one weekly assignment a week, 1 page long. No tests, and the lectures usually don't have anything to do with the summaries. You don't need to go to class every week but she does have a sign in sheet and she will take attendance into account. Boring and not really informative. She has a heavy accent which is hard to understand.

Took her online class, and I loved it! A new topic every week. Posts are due Thursday night, but do them early & post in the discussion board often. Very accessible through email. Although it was online, she expressed her excitement, and gave feedback via email. No textbook. Easy A! Definitely take her if you can!

I took her human biology online course and it was the easiest bio class in the world. Weekly discussions and a short one page summary. PowerPoint for midterm and a short project for final. Easy A.

Although she is a nice lady, she has no idea what she's talking about, and the thick accent doesn't help. She expects you to know everything before even teaching anything. This lab is different b/c half of it is online which isnt bad, just time consuming with tedious work.

man she is a bad professor, does not help you at all, wants you to know everything, but does not teach you anything, waste of time giving lab fee as well, when we could learn everything online...tell you when you take this class you are doing free research for them with web surveys.....she is awful overall.
