Natalia will be missed. I'm in a later ID class now, but I never realized how valuable Natalia's critique was when I was in ID 1 & 2. I used to be intimidated by her class, but I realized that she is actually extremely helpful, and she only points out *everything* that needs fixing so you don't make the same mistakes in the future!

Natalia is an amazing instructor. Crystal clear expectations and critiques are fair. She really knows the interior design and architecture industries as she is a residential designer and has a masters in architecture. Show up to class and ask for feedback so that you know what her expectations are for an A project. Tests are minimal and super easy.

#1 piece of advice for Natalia's classes: You MUST get critique over the course of a project. #2 Attendance isn't mandatory but don't be that one person who doesn't show up until presentation day. You'll get a lower grade, plus nobody will want you in their group for projects in ID 3, 4 and 5. You don't want to put yourself in that position.

Criticism is very good and helpful. Had her a few times and never once have I heard her being rude or mean to any student. Shes also nice and always clears up any confusion.

If she doesn't like your presentation she'll tell you in front of the whole class. Some of the criticism is constructive and some of it is just mean. You can tell she knows her stuff though. Anyway, get ready to be in the hot seat at one point or another. Also say good bye to the life you once had for that semester cause it's A LOT of work.

This class was interesting. The tests and quizzes were kind of difficult especially if you don't study thoroughly. Attendance isn't mandatory but does count towards your grade. There is one large research project which was pretty easy.

I thoroughly enjoyed taking both ID1 and ID2 with Natalia as she is kind, helpful, and has a wealth of knowledge. To do well in her class, you must stay on task! The project is extensive and stressful and you'll probably cry more times than you'd like to admit, but it's totally worth it in the end.

natalie is very nice and very straightforward, but she is also hard. the assignments take many hours, but there are only 3 large ones and when you are done it feels great to have accomplished something in such detail. this class was one of my favorites so far.

I really liked Natalia as a teacher. It's a ton of work, but no busy work. It's all stuff that is very useful. She's eager to give help, so ask. The midterm and final are hard, but I studied really hard for both of them and got A's on both. Just review the study guide in DETAIL. In critiques, she always points out the good stuff, not just the bad.

She is a very nice teacher and trys to be helpful but you need to know ridiculous amounts of tiny measurements. The midterm and final study guides she gives you are no help so make sure to just know everything possible.

I do like her teaching, she does help you out but dont annoy her to much cuz then she will brush you off. I put much effort into all my projects and class is mandatory if you want a good grade, she does consider that and help you out more. However her two exams sucks i dont like her testing style, thats the reason why i got a B+ rather than an A

I got a B- but i deserved it.I was a last minute kind of person and that will not fly in her class. Her grading is not as harsh as it seems. She has mood swings and you never know if she likes you or not.I always felt like I annoyed her.Ask lots of questions and see her for anything you plan to design.Just agree with her and you will be fine.

Natalia overall is a good teacher. To get the feedback you need in her class you should attend class and ask questions. The truth is if you dont show up until 2 days before the project is due and ask for all her time, she is not stupid and will give you what you deserve- the same time you gave in class. She is smart and can tell who is trying or no

I learned a lot in this class and did fairly well. If you study, ASK QUESTIONS and for help, and get your stuff done on time, you should be okay. It seems like most people that did poorly or complained didn't get their stuff in on time (their fault), didn't listen or get advice, or were basically just talentless or trying to skate through.

Natalia is a nice person, but I'm not a huge fan of her teaching. I don't recommend designing anything with color outside of neutrals and earth tones. If you want a good grade you have to cater to what she wants your design to look like. Do exactly what she says and you'll be ok.

She favors students...very biased and if she doesn't like your style, forget it! She doesn't teach at all. Expects you to learn from the book. I don't understand how she still has a job. Nobody in our last class liked her. Makes me feel like I could never be a designer. If you don't like being put on the spot in front of people don't take her!

This class is very time consuming and demanding. It is an easy A if you spend time on your projects and do them well. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST WEEK TO DO YOUR PROJECTS. Rendering takes a long time, especially since you are not taught how to do it. Putting the presentation boards together and making them look nice take atleast 8-10 hours.

This class is tedious! She lets you re-do your work so you can definitely get a good grade. about 10 projects in all. She somewhat procrastinates on grading things.
