Neb is the man! This course grounded me for so many other courses to come. I'll never forget it. To teach the early philosophers is not an easy task. To make it fascinating and applicable to life ... impossible, but he did it.

He spearheaded my interest in phil from my first intro course (101) on. A soft-speaker, pay attention and you learn a lot. Knows a whole lot about some really hard subjects but never treats students with any kind of ego. a class act.
