Difficult to follow along as she gets off track very easily. She seems like a nice enough person, but is, perhaps, a bit burnt out on teaching.

I waslooking forward to this class and was very disappointed. The reading is a bit boring, I expected that, however class discussions got off track mostly by her. She never answered email and didn't hand back quizzes.I did not know my exact grade the entire semester. She was intimidating. I would not recommend her or take her again.

She loves, English, and she knows a lot of facts, but the class got boring pretty quickly. She tried to be engaging and friendly but her comments on my paper were a little hard to understand. All in all a good teacher though.

Excellent discussions, but off topic. Expects you to read her mind, and cancels class often. Does not give you direction on the exams. Said she would have exams and papers graded and when I went to see she didn't have them done and said she didn't care that they weren't done. Would say she said something, when no one heard her say it. Lots of work.

Class discussions were very good. They were not very organized, but they got through the material. She does not prep you for all parts of the tests. She does not respond to email or phone calls very often, so you need to make sure to catch her before or after class. She did not remember who I was. I participated in class yet she didn't know me.

Took as a 5 week summer class. Teacher is cooperative with you as long as you come to class and make an effort. A TON of reading. If you go to every class and read every assignment you'll do fine. Listen to what she says in the discussions and on the tests use her thoughts on the essay. She'll give you a good grade if you agree with her.

She seemed to assign a lot of busy work that didn't really matter. Reading articles just to discuss in class and such. I went to class maybe 50% of the time and turned in every paper with an A. And still got a C in the class. Was all that I could hope for with 50% attendance. 101 was unorganized and annoying lectures that seemed repetative.

She knows her subject and her exams were very easy! While she isn't a bad teacher, she isn't a great one, either, and her class was BORING. But like I said, it's easy: the only "challenge" is keeping up with the many readings, and that, like the exams, is a cinch.

Has a really bad attitude and very disorganized. She lost one of my tests and two of my journal sets. She gave me zeros on all three so I received a D and had to retake the class. Even though I was able to provide her with the journals I'd written, and other class members vouched for the fact that they saw me hand them in on time.

If you don't read the book/SparkNotes, don't bother going. Basically the class argues out their points; she'll (occasionally) guide "discussions" to teach the class. Hope u don't have a student who likes to argue just to hear the sound of own voice as she'll let them run with it & won't suggest getting help outside of class instead of wasting time.

She is like wine. You have to aquire a taste for her. She can be hard to read but in all she cares about what she is teaching. She is laid back and fairly humerous. Class participation is essential. TRUST ME.

She's really unclear on alot of things, and could be a bit more interesting, but its not a horrible class. Pretty diffcult for a 100 level class, but still achievable.

She was all right. She wasn't too interesting, but the class was still achievable. She wasn't too enthusiastic but she wasn't incredibly difficult. I've had better teachers but I've also had much worse.

Fairly bland...didn't seem to enjoy her students very much, and also treated a student poorly who emailed her with a criticism of the class.
