I've taken many classes with Dr. M and, as expected, this course was tough but enjoyable. He has high expectations for his students which makes for a good challenge. There are quizzes each class, several papers, and presentations. Unfortunately, he was not as clear about assignments this semester as in the past.

Dr. McDonald is hilarious and kind. He cares about his student's success and is always willing to explain things multiple times to assure everyone understands. This is a statistics course so it was very difficult, but as long as you read the material, attend class, and ask as many questions as you can, you should be fine.

Has a deep interest in subject areas he teaches. Cares that his students learn the material. Very fair. I have used stuff learned in this class in casual conversation numerous times since class. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Fairly tough; do not take if you do not WANT TO LEARN and WANT TO EARN YOUR GRADE.

As an undergrad, i worked with Dr. McDonald as a TA & RA, and took almost all of his classes. You will not find a teacher more dedicated to his profession & his students. You will learn a tremendous amount from him. His classes are known to be some of the toughtest around, and few earn A's from him, but this is what a college class should be.
