I like the way he teaches...he speaks slowly so that we can take in the material he's teaching and he stops every few minutes to see if we have any questions. The "aaaare there any questions" is a bit annoying and too much of him gets boring (I have him once a week for 2 1/2 hours). Tests are fair and he's very helpful.

Dr.Ridler is a model example of what a prof should be. He encourages and challanges students with the material to learn and ask questions. He really cares about how well you understand what he is teaching and goes out of his way to keep the material concise and comprehensible. Besides that he has a great disposition in the class.
