I took this class over the summer. She's very nice. She even let this person I know make up some late homework. She extended homework deadlines all the time and gave a lot of extra credit. We got extra credit just for going to class. I went to 95% of the lectures and did all of the homework and I got an A.

compared to hampton or roberts, she's definately easier. I took her over the summer and she was boring but her test questions were fair & not too difficult! She included more concepts rather than problems because of the time constraints. Her homework also helps a lot and she gave us 45 points extra credit. Students do need to read though. I got a B

I took CHM 2045 in Fall'05. Petzold couldn't explain things well, had decent/hard tests, and was sort of helpful at office hours. The tests closely followed the book, so I read a lot and got an A. Her class required a lot of independent learning (the discussion sessions were not enough).

She isnt the best at explaining concepts but this class is SO easy that it doesnt matter. Test questions are easier than the homework. If you can memorize a little information and plug values into equations to solve for unknowns then it will be an easy A. Spent 2 hours per test studying and got a 98%. Very easy and she gives plenty of extra credit!

This class is heard, but she's a good teacher for it. Very easy and gives you a lot of helpful materials to study from. Lectures are pretty boring and she's kind of quirky, but she answers your questions and gives lots of extra credit.

Taking CHM2045 over the summer has been a relatively pleasant experience for the most part. But I think I can say this because I did a lot of self-studying and the online homework actually helped me learn the material. If you take this course, don't depend on lecture notes alone to get you good grades on the exams. The exams are fair.

If you want any chance at passing CHM2045 this is the professor for you. Keep up with the homework and attend class. She gives plenty of extra credit opportunities such as attendance checks and extra assignments. This is not an easy class, especially if you get behind; therefore she is probably the best professor you'll find for passing this clas

Where to begin??? She is a horrible teacher. The only way to pass this class is to teach yourself. She oftens feels bad about the class grade and gives a ton of extra credit. It could be worse. The lab quizzes help you out.

Cant teach well at all.She doesnt go over all of the slides in class and expects you to do the homework afterwards. The hw is not nothing like the quizzes and tests. She doesnt give you enough time on test.3/4 of the class were still sitting in class trying guess the rest of the problems after time was up.DONT take her, especially during summer!

She is a very good professor, always willing to help you out. Her test are easy and eventhough there is online homework every week it actually benefits you since you get endless attempts until you have them all correct. She gives alot of extra credit which really boost up your grade. Great teacher.

Quiz every week, hours of homework every week. If you have a problem she WILL NOT help you. Her tests are very hard, and you don't always have time to finish them. She is boring and does not teach well. Between a zillion homework assignments that take literally hours, hard quizzes, attendance checks, and her being a bad teacher- DO NOT TAKE HER!

Really, this class isn't that difficult. I had taken her for a harder chemistry class for engineers, but that didn't work out too well. Course Compass is really a joke, that's where you get your points, just make sure you get all the points you can from there. I got B's on the tests and I got an A in the class. She's weird, but you'll do fine.

She is a nice person, but has no clue how to teach. She repeats her "explanations" without actually saying or clarifying anything. It's difficult to pay attention because she's constantly pausing between words. I don't know how SI leaders are chosen, but hers didn't help much. He wouldn't have gotten an A without the extra credit from attendence

She is unclear and not a very good teacher. I also really hated doing OWL, practice problems online, because she gave out way too many (25-40 problems). There is a lot of busy work in this class. Besides that, she does try to make the class easier by providing some extra credit.

DON'T TAKE HER! Seriously. She's awful, doesn't know how to teach the material and half the time screws up on it herself. I only took the class because my advisor told me to, even though I had credit for it since I got a 4 on the AP exam. I can teach the class better than she can. If you actually want to learn chemistry and get an A, don't take her
