I had mixed feelings about this class. He was great at explaining the necessities for papers, but strange at critiquing. We did have group critiquing though and that was very helpful, probably more helpful than he was. We only had to write 4 papers, which was better than some classes thathad to write 5 and 6.

Prof. Smith is very opinionated and sarcastic that I believe Daria the cartoon lives in his soul. Besides his personality, he is very helpful when you ask. He expects you to think on your own and BE VERY OPINIONATED IN YOUR PAPERS! Great Prof for writing.
