Very nice, don't get me wrong, but she is just not a good teacher. I took her for spanish II and she spoke completely in Spanish the whole time. I was completely lost most of the time during lecture. Thinks you should teach yourself the material. More work than all other classes put together. Better of with Rosetta Stone and a clep test.

She is a great professor! Really cares about her students and is a pretty easy grader. She makes a rather boring class fun! She's extremely understanding and lets you miss 3 classes before it affects your grade.

Very easy grader, if you've taken any level of spanish in high school, you shouldn't have a problem with the class. Just keep up with her blogs, they are easy, but a big part of your grade. If you have to take spanish, I'd definitely recommend her.

Prof Nieves was willing to help students understand the material and didn't just keep going if the class stared at her quizzically. Languages are not a love of mine, so I wish that I had her for the next level because then I would know that I could get help from my professor.

Professor Nieves is the BEST spanish teacher I have had since beginning the language freshman year in high school. Her classes are always interesting and she makes the grammar very easy to understand. She is always willing to help. DO YOUR QUIA!!! Her tests can be challenging if you dont study.

Prof. Nieves talks to you like you're five, which is really annoying. don't take her for a 9am class if it's your first class- its hard to motivate yourself to get out of bed. Easiness depends on how hard you work at learning the spanish, which honestly isn't bad, her tests are easy...there are other spanish teachers...take their class
