He's a nice guy and seems to be very interested in the course, but he just stands there and talks the whole time without slides. He wrote the text book himself and your essays have to be specifically about what he believes or you will not do well. Read the book, don't bother showing up to class, write about whatever the book argues.

This guy is awesome. Coming to class is something I look forward to! He's hilarious, and his jokes are great. Learning Russian isn't too hard either. His approach is basically learn a little bit in class, do lots on your own, but have fun at the same time.

Nick is an awsome teacher. I enjoyed his classes so much. Gets off topic quite a bit, but at least the stories are somewhat relavent and amusing. He does know his stuff. But the class could use a bit more structure, but the lack thereof was always a welcome break from everything else.
