Nick is a good prof, and I enjoyed the course. He does a really good job of explaining concepts and keeping course material interesting. The Midterm and Final were tougher than I thought they would be, and if you want a good grade, you have to study. I wouldn't say this is a GPA booster, but if you put in the work, you should have no problems.

Awesome Prof. Although content was dry, he tried to make the most of it by including real world examples. Tests based on lectures, so make sure you attend class or at least listen to online recordings. Great guy, and you can easily tell that he loves what he teaches.

His lectures are a little dry because the material is dry but he makes jokes to try and make the material more interesting. Uses a lot of real world examples and exams are fair questions. Reading is heavy he wants you to read the entire chapters not just a certain pages within the chapter.

Interesting topics, but with a lot of reading required. Lectures quite theoretical but if you do the reading and try to engage with the material, you will find it more clear. Nick is very intelligible, fair marker, and a nice guy. There are 3 "mini-papers", 1 short paper and a book review (due very last day). Make sure you keep up with the reading.

Nick's conceptualizing of and research on space, place and power is impressive to say the least. He is so insightful, to not only the spatial concepts but regarding society, ethics, values, conflicting interests and the politics of it all. He is an excellent orator- one of the best profs/lecturers I have had in 6 years of studying. Sexy accent too.
