If Computer Networking History were a course, Nick would be an excellent teacher. Unfortunately no such class exists so while the rest of the world is learning about WAN's and LAN's. Nick continually touts how incredible Token Ring is, he just can't seem to let it go. SLC is a much better facility with his absence. Easily the worst teacher I've had

Comment:

Nick was very hard to understand and never really talked about current network topologies. Token Ring was his favorite form of network which died 20 years ago. He often strayed very far from any lesson plans and rarely followed the text book. I can honestly say I never learned a thing from him and about 90% of other students reported him.

By far, the worst teacher I have ever had! He taught us using a different textbook, he was very unclear, he picked favourites, it just wasn't fun being in his class! He got suspended for a week for throwing chalk at a guy in my class.

Dr. Nick is hilarious! I call him Dr. Nick because it's funny and he reminds me of the Simpson's guy. But he has a lot of knowledge in that head of his and he knows what he's talking about. Just don't be late for class! He hates that and w/ good reason
