Taking a Brixius class? Good luck. Test 1 covered 7 whole chapters in the textbook. Guess what the review was? Absolutely nothing. he told us to reread the 275 pages of the 7 chapters. Don't like that? Well you can also look over the >530 powerpoint pages that he went over in class. Basically if you can skip this class do yourself a favor and do it

Do the homework, and re-read the notes for the test. You will do well. His criteria is stated plainly in the beginning of each assignment, and if you have a question he will answer very quickly. Has a monotone voice and reads from a powerpoint, but get to talking with him and he is very enjoyable.

Pretty good teacher. His presentations are pretty informative if you listen to them. Bring a laptop to class so you can screw around, or don't come at all -- it's optional. Do homework and come to weekly labs and you'll survive. Tests are a joke if you read the book and the final project is cake.

Class lectures are a drag. Very little actual coding examples, just power-point slides in a monotonous voice. Homework wayed very heavily, so do all the assignments and complete project early to avoid loosing your mind. His assistant Robert is much more helpful for programming questions.
