Tough teacher,she pays way more attention to the details and the form than the content of the assignment: -Even if you have the right answer, she will take out point if you forget the % sign, or if you forget the number of the question. -She barely answers questions, -Her marking is horrible, she wants the exact same words as the book.

Comment:

Took the online macro course with Prof. Russell, unlike the other comments, I did not find the courses to be that difficult. Our Macro course was structured with 3 quizzes (5% ea.), 3 assignments (10% ea.), and one final exam (55%). Course was quiz/exam heavy, with little interaction from the prof, but was always quick to reply and answer emails.

I am taking this course online and I get almost immediate responses to my questions. Good direction. The only problem is the online textbook. It is expensive and I can only have it for one year. They are changing textbooks so this won't be a problem. One of my best courses.

Online class, barely interacts with students. Extremely tough marker on assignments even on answers taken directly from the text. Overall would not recommend to anyone ever

Very respectful and answers emails right away. First online course. I like the discussion area you don't feel like your taking the course alone. Met someone online to study with. Could do more courses online.

Immediate response to any question. I like all the encouragement and insights. She has pushed me to believe in myself and do the work. Motivating yourself to do the work is the hardest part and the secret to passing.. I would take one again. Now the I know I have support.

This has to be the worst experience I have ever had with a professor. Marking was extremely hard for a first year class. She will not let any students work together on assignments. Tried to contact Ms. Russell and was given a rude reply that was not helpful. Overall a very negative experience

A professor needs to have some patience, tolerance,someone that cares about the success of his students. The best professors remain. It should be a free market, not some worst professors are kept because of being a union member or so. Or maybe they are there because they know someone.I was deeply discouraged. ONE OF THE WORST
