Had him for Succession and Philosophy of Law. Fantastic professor that genuinely cares about the students. He even gives you his home number to reach him if you have any questions. Too bad he may not be teaching Succession anymore.

brilliant! an incredible resource for difficult questions about law, like what is law? why study law? but you have to be willing to ask difficult questions. if you're in law school just to get a job, his classes will probably annoy you, and you'll probably annoy the people who are there to learn.

Terrible. Talked about himself more than he talked about torts, and even when he was on topic was confused and unclear.

Passionate & it shows. Cares about the students'comments! If you want to learn how to think critically, he will help you. Eccentric in his own way, but who isn't at UBC law. A good prof who can juggle research & teaching. Could be an excellent prof if he gave more concrete feedback!

Terrible! He constantly talks about himself and goes off on tangents. Even when he does say something on topic he contradicts himself and doesn't make sense. He plays favourites and makes **** and **** remarks. He shouldn't be allowed to teach.

He was my small group prof, and I almost dropped out of law school at Christmas my first year. He has no concept of how to teach, was demoralizing and made **** comments to the women in the class. Stay away unless you're a masochist!!

Confused, befuddled, and erratic. He spent half of class time interrupting himself or launching into anecdotes about trips on the bus. Okay for entertainment, not for instruction.
