Omar is easily the most amazing prof I have ever had. Class attendance is necessary but you will want to go to his class. If you enjoy a good class where you can learn lots, he is the prof for you. He cares about each and every one of his students and he does his best to make everyone feel welcome.

Omar is the best prof you'll ever have. I would strongly recommend taking one of this courses. He is one of the reasons I wanted to major in Spanish, he is very encouraging and really cares about his students. Show up to every class, it is very important if you want to succeed!

Omar is a wonderful man. Although he may seem scary at first, he's actually like a teddy bear. Just listen to what he says and try your best to understand the language and you'll get by just fine.

I've had a class with Omar every term of every year; for me a term without him would be a Bummer! He has his BE, so he knows what he is doing as far as teaching goes because of this. he is aproachable, friendly, and very intelligent. He is very interested in the material and is always making everyone smile and laugh.I Highly recommend his courses

BEAUTIFUL man in every way. Amazing prof and person. Omar may dig into your personal life if he really likes you but he is the caring kind of prof that you wish for. Attendance is mandatory, but Omar will make sure you succeed. I wish I could take more courses with him, but I simply cannot fit it in. Will miss this class and man very, very much!

Amazing Prof. Take him if you get the chance. He's dedicated to student and loves teaching. Uses his warped sense of humor and teasing to make class interesting and to engage students. Don't take his jokes to heart but be serious when it comes to class work and you will have no problems with this prof. Respect him and he will respect you!

Omar is hilarious and entertaining. Although you have to be motivated enough to teach yourself some of the material. Also, his tests are fairly easy, but sometimes unclear. He's not the best at explaining, but he's a nice guy and makes class interesting.

I think Omar clearly rigged all these nice comments about himself because we all know he "cannot teach without being an ass" ;)... especially since he brings it up every class. He's really funny, but doesn't always make great use of class time. Also his refusal to translate in explanation really wastes time and confuses people. But, his tests are really easy and you'll get a good mark if you do your homework and make an effort. Kind of intimidating, but if you respect him and care about the class you'll be fine.

Omar is quite possibly the best professor at STU. He is very helpful, friendly and fun! He makes sure every student understands everything, and his marking is very fair, if not generous. He is an excellent and knowledgeable professor and a wonderful person. If you get a chance to learn from him, take it!
