Comment:

Good teacher, but if you want a good grade you will have to work for it. She goes over a lot of problems that will get you prepared for homework. Unlimited amount of attempts on homework and homework quizzes. Exams are usually short.

Comment:

She is a good professor I guess. She knows her stuff but she only teaches by working examples the whole class and rarely incorporates alternative learning approaches. If you learn by copying what the professor puts on the board, you'll pass this class with no trouble. After every lecture, there is an assignment. Do it or your grade is gonna suffer.

Comment:

Ketkar is a good teacher. She has a dry personality but she gets her point across. Her test reviews are the exact same as the test expect the numbers. As long as you know what is on the review and how to work out the problem you will pass the test with an A. She sometimes goes fast in class but willing to explain something if you don't get it.

Had her for Trig. She was very nice, but hard to understand her sometimes due to her accent. She was always willing to further explain anything I didn't understand. Her tests were always 10 questions, but it would take the full hour to complete all 10 questions. The final is cumulative as well. Best part of her class is short homework.

I took the online class. The lectures didn't always cover the material, so I had to go searching for additional resources. On the plus side, you can repeat assignments as many times as you need to for a higher grade. Have to turn on your Webcam for tests.

I'm not good at math, she was ZERO help. Lecture videos & notes do not coincide with homework for section. She wants you to round up, but only says so on some questions, if you don't round no matter what, it is wrong. She did not teach, she left us to our own. If you are bad at math of any kind, take this class with another teacher.

Well first of all her office hours are only on the days she teaches. She also likes to change up what she originally gave you, such in my case going from an 84/100 on the final to an 84/150. I failed the final. At the beginning of the year she wrote the wrong textbook on the syllabus, and then changed it. No warning. Everyone had wrong books

Professor Ketkar is extremely boring. Her class is very, very easy. I am re-learning all of my middle school math. It's useless and getting me nowhere. She's never sure of what she wants as far as homework, assignments, in-class work, etc.

She is my favorite teacher!! There are five homework problems assigned after every class and if you do them then go into her office and ask her to check them, you will get a 100 on every homework assignment. I am not very good at math but she is so sweet and if she sees you putting in work she will do her very best to help you.

Do your homework, and the practice problems assigned and you'll do great in this class. Test problems almost always come straight from the practice problems. If you show work, she is good about giving even partial credit as long as you attempt the problem. Best math teacher I've ever had. If you're not great at math, take Ms. Ketkar!

She is very clear with her teaching and isn't one of those pretentious math teachers that assumes you've memorized all the math you've had since 8th grade. If there is an algebra concept you've forgotten, she'll help you go through it without making you feel like an idiot. She drops five of your lowest homework grades and one of your lowest tests.

I would have to say Mrs. Ketkar has have to be the best math instructor ever. She is very nice, clear, fair, and organized. She will do the best to help the ones that want it. If you want to succeed in her class just participate, attend, and show you want to learn. She is very dedicated and I wish she would teach other classes.
