Comment:

Prof. Plantinga is such a sweet lady and she really wants to see her students succeed. Stats isn't the most fun course for many, but she makes it interesting. She uses personal examples and multiple times uses candy for her demonstrations. She is a generous grader/test giver. She is always open for meeting outside of class if you're struggling.

Probably one of bet Calvin profs and the sweetest lady ever. She's really easy if you go to class. She gives handouts for everything and you just go over it in class with her. Homework is also really manageable. Definitely must take while at Calvin.

Very clear and helpful; she gives out note packets that are fill in the blank w/ examples, so you just fill in as she goes. She covers material pretty quickly, especially during review sessions; however she constantly invites students to visit her in her office if they're having trouble. Great, caring prof who makes Stats as manageable as possible.

Incredible prof! I am terrible at Math and actually did well in this course! Prof. Plantinga is incredibly clear, encouraging, and helpful. She is always anxious to assist everyone and provides incredibly detailed review sheets for tests. Her examples are also great. One of the best profs I've had at Calvin.

As someone who has tutored for this class, I feel that I was very well prepared and knew the material better than many others because I had her. She is very helpful and makes stats interesting even at 8 in the morning. Her notes are clear and easy to follow. Take her if you can!

Pam Pantinga is a boss! She loves coffee, and her caffeine intake shows during class. She is always excited about Math, and that makes Stats, a typically boring subject, fun. Homework never takes more than 30 minutes, and she helps prepare for tests more than any professor I have ever had. An amazing professor!

This is probably the best class I will ever take at Calvin. She is very helpful, not a lot of homework, and gives 2 days of class time to review before tests, which are also very easy. She tells stories about her kids and she bakes cookies sometimes.

So nice. Easy class. It's like having a mom as the teacher. She brought in cookies & candy.
