She is very helpful, passionate about English literature. Great sense of humor and grades fairly. She is also very nice on the eye. Quizzes every week, a paper every week at least, short readings, portfolio at the end(of your fave old papers), and a presentation(worst part of the class). Great class, take this teacher!

I just got out of our last class.. And I came home to write this before going out with friends.. Pamela M. is by far the BEST professor at Oakland!!!! I cannot stress that enough.. She is extremely helpful, very very understanding... Very flexible with this semesters workload... I would take her again in a heart beat! TAKE HER CLASSES!

Unlike many of my other classes, I actually had fun in this class. She makes an effort to get to know her students and is very knowledgeable. Much of what she teaches you will actually use. I landed an internship for this summer and this class helped. This is the only class she teaches outside of the honors college which is unfortunate.

Wonderful professor! I loved her class and I still remember everything she said a semester later. She is very helpful, though has a blunt way of making it so. Just do your best work and A)she won't run you over, and B)you'll get a good grade and a real knowledge that sticks with you.

I have her class right now..she is an awesome professor and extremely helpful. The class IS a lot of work, but she explains things great and is really willing to help you out. Tests are taken in groups as are many of the assignments. Quizzes on chapters everyday but the questions are usually pretty simple. Take her for Business Writing!

As previous 'raters' have said, this business writing class is definitely worth taking. And since it's a requirement for many degree programs, you'll have to take it! Professor Mitzelfeld is an enthusiastic and extremely capable instructor -- and she offers a 'lifetime guarantee' with her class, so how can you lose? Any level writer will benefit!!

This class was kind of hands-on, but it was still fun. Attendance is very mandatory, and there is a good amount of homework - little things that fall through the mind's cracks much too easily. You need the book, although you still won't use it very often. Pay attention and attend class, and remember the homework!
