Had him for both FIN 420 & 322. Is the BEST professor out there. Teaches material much better than any other professor out there. Was very fair in grading the quizzes, just wanted to see that you put in an effort and would give you full credit. Does not waste your time, no bs and gets to the point. He is a nice guy too. I wish he taught EVERY class

This class was great. You had to be an idiot not to get anything from this class. All homework and examples were exactly like tests. Class was more than fair. Prof was willing to answer anything you asked or having trouble with. Outstanding teacher. He only taught what was relevant for the class. There was absolutley no BS.

Ruined a class that could have been interesting. He doesn't teach anything, he just does examples on the overheard. The textbook is useless, so if you miss class you are screwed. His quizzes and projects have terrible explanations (if there is one). And tests include only his notes. I have already told people not to take this class.

Seems like a gruff old man at first, but is actually a pretty decent guy with some good stories. Exams are hard, lots of quizzes, but there is a nice curve in the class. Take him if you're willing to go to class and actually study, don't take him if you're really sensitive or lazy.

Good teaching method.The outline is detailed and followed.He offers good examples of all material(but goes beyond outside sources,so taking notes is a must!).T/Q are straight forward,from the examples and handouts.He will answer questions,but is short about it.I enjoyed the class.

This guy is the BEST teacher. Yes his exam T/F are really tough, but he only tests off the notes. Really good at explaining things. He seems kind of mean at first, but he really isn't bad if you talk to him after class. Excel quizzes can be kind of long, but overall not too difficult.

Class is a lot work with take-home Excel quizzes, but teaches the material well. Don't buy the book he tests off the notes. The exams aren't easy, but not impossible. Seems like a jerk, but a nice guy and willing to help if you have questions.
