She ran the class like something you would see in a huge lecture hall. You take the notes she writes and then study them. In order to truly do well, you must read the textbook. I pass/failed and got away with just using class notes. Tests are hard, but not impossible. I recommend taking this as P/F. Entire grade is based on 4, 50 question MC tests

Four tests and thats it. Not mandatory attendance. You definitely need to read the whole textbook to get a good grade. Super boring class. She is not interested in knowing her class whatsoever. You have to put effort into getting a good grade but it is possible.

Professor Cameron tries to make the material relevant and thought provoking. However, if you are not interested in adult development it could be dry. I highly advise trying to make it to every class because much of her exams are based on her lectures. And her lectures will only make sense if you read the text. If you do both, you should do fine.

I enjoyed this class. There is no attendance policy which is great but I wouldn't miss class because you will fall behind. The tests a little hard but they are right from the notes and some of the book. The final grade is based solely on the 4 tests but there is never homework or essays. If you get over a 90 avg you don't have to take the final.

I really liked Professor Cameron. She writes out some notes on the board, but then starts to talk about what she has written. WRITE THESE THINGS DOWN b/c she will ask about them on the tests. She also will throw in one or two questions about the txtbook readings. Overall, is very nice and really passionate about child psych. Definitely recommend :)

she seems like a sweet lady but don't let that fool you. Her tests are impossible. she does not cover much material from the text book in class and requires you to figure out the difficult concepts from the book on your own. No attendance policy but I would not dare to miss one class if you want to pass.

cameron has no attendance policy and is a really sweet lady. she has a soothing voice but her lectures arent bad. she even jokes around a lot. her tests are a little hard so you have to study but theres no other homework besides the occasional test. i would recommend it.

Biggest piece of advice for this class: do NOT buy the textbook -- the only thing you have to do is copy her notes VERBATIM and take really really good notes, then you will ace all of her tests! Dr. Cameron is a very nice professor, quiet, and her jokes are hilarious :P

Great teacher. Although she is soft spoken and doesn't learn your names, her tests are extremely easy. Everything is straight from the notes...you don't even need a textbook. She will help you out in any way you need...I've taken her for two other classes as well. I highly recommmend Dr. Cameron

Best prof I took this semester! No essays, 3-4 tests that are easy if you go to class. I didnt buy the text book- they have an old version in the libby which works fine. No attendance policy but she doesnt learn your names either. I would definitely take her again!!!
