Comment:

Nice professor with terrible time management skills and lectures every single class. Majority of the class keep their phones out to pass the time since the possible exam questions are given out ahead of time and all of the answers can be found in the textbook or readings. Easy overall but you can learn from the textbook unlike her lectures.

prof collamer is so great, I loved her for soc 100. She gives the prompts for the exam and usually uses the exact same questions. Lots of writing but if you follow the guidelines it's not hard to get an a. she's super sweet and is understanding and willing to help

She is AMAZING! Her class was super easy and she gives feedback very quickly! One thing is you have to take very detailed notes for the exams and papers (but they are super easy). She also gives possible exam questions a week before the exam so you know what to expect on the exam (usually 3 of the EXACT prompts are on the exam). TAKE THIS CLASS!!

Collamer is one of the most caring professors you'll find on a college campus. She alters the syllabus schedule based on the class feedback and takes everything her students say into consideration. Pay attention in lecture and you'll learn everything you need to know to pass the class.

She is a great Professor. I took her for SOC 100, and she was hilarious. She has a real passion for Sociology, and she is such a kind woman. She assigns a good amount of papers, but it isn't too bad. Take this professor for SOC 100!

Best professor hands down! Lectures are long but entertaining. Her class isn't hard, just do the paper and you will pass with flying colors. She's so sweet. Get to know her, she loves when her students go above and beyond, she will help you a lot! She gives you the test a week before and you can email her if you are stuck in the test or the prompt!

She is an amazing teacher. You earn your grade tho. She does not just hand you an A. As long as you keep up with the reading and do what you are suppose do you will do well. She has a lot of good life experience to share and can teach you a lot about the subject. Best teacher I've ever had at HACC

I actually have her at HACC and she is an awesome teacher. She is always keeping the classes attention, deals with everyday situation and her personal life. reading the book is helpful and you have to take her notes in class, and she has worksheets online for exams which help a lot, but a really good class, you learn a lot, highly recommend

Very nice lady. She makes class fun, is very approachable, and knows her stuff. Labs are easy and bring up your GPA. Easy grader on the 4 papers you need to write. Relates topics to current events. Tests are pretty easy, and review sheets are given. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!

Comment:

One of my favorite teachers at York! Always tries to relate topics to current events. Gives lots of examples and explains everything clearly. Tests were multiple choice with a few easy short answers. Basically tells you what will be on tests. Breach lab was awesome!
