I had Dr. K for SPN 311. Her Spanish may have been easy to understand, however I often left class completely confused on due dates of assignments. She was never very clear. She offers some outside of class extra credit. DO IT! You'll definitely need it.

I can give you 1000 reasons not to take her. She's definitely one of the toughest graders I've ever had, she never goes into detail about the readings, which makes it very hard to do well on her tests. She couldn't keep the class organized to save her life. Just do yourself a huge mental and emotional favor and never EVER take her.

She is a very hard grader, when she is going over the readings she doesn't explain anything. her class is not very clear, stay away from this professor if you are not familiar with narratives and poems. she is very demanding and hates when you go to the restroom during class so if you take her class avoid potty breaks.

I don't think I would ever take her again. She lectures the whole time and is an extremely tough grader. Many students in my class have received Cs on the 2 exams we have taken, myself included and we don't get why we all get that low. Definitely needs to reevaluate her teaching style. Doesn't return work in a timely manner.

Klingenberg is a very nice professor that has a ton of enthusiasm about what she is teaching. I don't understand why people gave her a bad rating. If you do the readings, and say at least one insightful thing in class about the homework, and have a good sense of humor/interest in it, she will love you!

PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE! DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!! I was was warned not to, but didn't listen bc I thought she was nice at first. I found out I was soo wrong! She is totally unhelpful and does not want to be bothered outside of class. She makes off-the-cuff remarks to you and assigns things randomly. Her teaching is based in nothing. AVOID HER!
